6th Phase Election Voting Details
- As of 11.45 pm, 61.20% polling has been recorded in the sixth phase of general elections. As in the previous phases, polling station-wise, it will be continuously updated by the field level officials as the VTR will be available live on the app.
- State-wise approximate polling details at 11:45 pm are as Bihar - 08 seats - 55.24%, Haryana - 10 seats - 60.4%, Jammu and Kashmir - 1 seat - 54.30%, Jharkhand - 04 seats - 63.76%, Delhi - 07 seats - 57.67%, Odisha - 06 seats - 69.56%, Uttar Pradesh- 14 Constituencies -54.03%, West Bengal- 08 Constituencies - 79.47 %,

- The 11th World Para Athletics Championships for the Disabled is underway in Kobe, Japan. More than a thousand sportsmen and women from 100 countries participated in it. Simran Sharma clocked 24.95 seconds to win gold in the women's 200m T12 event on the final day of the World Para Athletics Championships, giving India its sixth gold medal.
- Simran shaved a fifth of a second off his previous personal best of 25.16 seconds to win the gold. Simran, who won the gold, is showered with praise. The T12 category is for visually impaired athletes. India is currently sixth in the points table with 17 medals (6 gold, 5 silver, 6 bronze).
- This is the highest number of medals won by India at the World Para Athletics Championships. The previous record was 10 medals (3 gold, 4 silver, 4 bronze) at last year's event in Paris. New history has been made before that.
- China tops the list with 87 medals, including 33 gold. Brazil, Uzbekistan, Great Britain and the United States are next.
- The World Archery Championships are being held in Yecheon, South Korea. In the women's compound team category, the world number one team of India, Jyoti Sureka Vennam, Aditi Swamy and Paneet Kaur dominated from the start and won the gold by defeating Turkey's team of Hasel, Begum Yuva and Ayse Pera with a score of 232-226.
- With this, the Indian women's team has won a hat-trick of gold in the compound category. They won gold in the first stage competition in Shanghai and in the competition held in Downing, Italy.
- Asian champions Jyothi Sureka-Priyansh missed out on a gold medal in the compound mixed team category. She won the silver after a tough challenge from her American counterpart Olivia-Sawyer with a score of 155-153.
