கிராண்ட் பிரிக்ஸ் விருது 2024 / GRAND PRIX AWARD 2024: பிரான்ஸ் நாட்டின் கேன்ஸ் நகரில் 77-வது கேன்ஸ் திரைப்பட விழா, கடந்த 14 ஆம் தேதி தொடங்கி 10 நாட்கள் நடைபெற்றது. இந்த திரைப்பட விழாவின் பல்வேறு பிரிவுகளில் திரையிடப்படும் படங்கள் கடந்த ஏப்ரல் மாதம் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டன.
இதில் உலகின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட படங்கள் அடங்கும். இந்த விழாவில் உலகம் முழுவதுமிருந்து திரைத்துறை பிரபலங்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனா்.
இதில் பல்வேறு மொழித் திரைப்படங்கள் திரையிடப்பட்டன. அதன்படி, இந்திய ஆவணப்பட இயக்குநர் பாயல் கபாடியா இயக்கத்தில் உருவான, 'ஆல் வி இமேஜின் அஸ் லைட்' (All We Imagine as Light) திரைப்படம் திரையிடப்பட்டது.
இத்திரைப்படத்தில் கனி கஸ்ருதி, திவ்ய பிரபா உள்ளிட்ட பலர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்துள்ளனர். கேன்ஸ் திரைப்பட விழாவில் 30 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பின் பங்குபெற்ற இந்திய திரைப்படம் இது.
இதனையடுத்து, விருது வழங்கும் நிகச்சி நடைபெற்றது. தொடர்ந்து, இத்திரைப்படத்திற்கு கிராண்ட் பிரிக்ஸ் (grand prix) விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது. இத்திரைப்படம் இவ்விருதைப் பெற்ற முதல் இந்திய படம் என்ற பெருமையை பெற்றுள்ளது.
இதன் மூலம் கிராண்ட் பிரிக்ஸ் விருதை வென்ற முதல் இந்திய இயக்குநர் என்ற பெருமையைப் பாயல் கபாடியா பெற்றுள்ளார். பாம் டி'ஓர் விருதுக்கு அடுத்தபடியாக 'கிராண்ட் பிரிக்ஸ்' விருதுதான் கேன்ஸ் விழாவின் உயரிய விருதாகும்.

GRAND PRIX AWARD 2024: The 77th Cannes Film Festival was held in Cannes, France, for 10 days starting on the 14th. The films to be screened in various sections of the festival were announced last April. It includes films made in different parts of the world. Celebrities from all over the world attended the event.
Various language films were screened in it. Accordingly, the film 'All We Imagine as Light' directed by Indian documentary director Payal Kapadia was screened.
Kani Kashruti, Divya Prabha and many others have played the lead roles in this film. This is the first Indian film to participate in the Cannes Film Festival after 30 years.
After this, the award ceremony was held. Subsequently, the film was awarded the Grand Prix. The film became the first Indian film to win this award.
Payal Kapadia became the first Indian director to win the Grand Prix award. Next to the Palme d'Or, the Grand Prix is the highest award at the Cannes Film Festival.
