Plus 1 Public Exam 2024 in Tamil Nadu
- Tamil Nadu Plus 1 General Examination was held from 4th March to 25th March. A total of 8, 20, 207 students appeared for this exam, 3,89,736 male students and 4,30,471 female students from 7,534 schools. Apart from this, 5,000 individual candidates and 187 jail inmates wrote the Plus-1 examination.
- In this case, as already announced, the Plus-1 exam results were released today. A total of 91.17% students have passed according to the Department of School Education Examination. 7.43% more girl students have passed than male students this year.
- In this, Coimbatore district ranked first with 96.02% passing, Erode district ranked 2nd with 95.56% passing, and Tirupur district ranked 3rd with 95.23% passing.
- Archeologist Emmanuel and Villupuram scholar Anna Government College of Arts History Professor Dr. Ramesh conducted a field study at Uluntampattu and Talavanur Tenpennayyar near Panruti.
- Then they found two ancient copper coins. On examination of them it was revealed that they belong to the 15th century Vijayanagara period. The obverse of the coin bears the image of a bull; On the back is written 'Devarayar' in Telugu.

- Final Index for February 2024 (Base Year: 2011-12=100): Final Total Price Index and Inflation Rate of 'All Commodities' for February 2024 (Base Year: 2011-12=100) were 151.2% and 0.20% respectively.
- The final figure for February 2024 is based on 95.5 percent. Provisional statistics on Total Price Index will be revised as per final revision policy.
- For the first time, India will host the World Hydrogen Summit 2024 in Rotterdam, Netherlands from 13 to 15 May 2024. The India Hall, set up by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, is one of the largest venues for the summit. It was inaugurated on 12th May by Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Mr. Bhupinder S. Balla-wal.
- The World Hydrogen Summit is a prestigious event in the global green hydrogen ecosystem. Around 15,000 delegates from all over the world are expected to attend the conference.
- The Indian venue of the conference provides an opportunity to showcase the country's progress in the field of green hydrogen to the world.

- India and Iran have long been at loggerheads over the landmark Sabahar port deal in Iran. In this case, Iran has allowed India to operate a terminal at Sabahar port for 10 years.
- A bilateral agreement in this regard was signed in Delhi yesterday. India Ports Global Limited and Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran signed the agreement in the presence of Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal.
- According to this, India will manage the Shahid-Beheshti Terminal in the Sabahar Port Development Project for 10 years. This is the first time that India has taken over the management of a foreign port.
