• ஜான் எல்.ஜேக் ஸ்விகெர்ட் ஜூனியர் விருது / JOHN L.JACK SWIGERT JR AWARD: நாசாவின் விண்கலம் அனுப்பிய லேசர் சிக்னலுக்கு, விக்ரம் லேண்டரில் இருந்து பிரதிபலிப்பு சிக்னல் வந்ததாக இஸ்ரோ தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இதன் மூலம், தென் துருவத்தில் இடத்தை குறிப்பிடும் அடையாளமாக விக்ரம் லேண்டர் மாறியுள்ளது. 
• அதில் உள்ள லேசர் கருவியான எல்.ஆர்.ஏ. 10 ஆண்டுகள் வரை செயல்படக் கூடியது என இஸ்ரோ தெரிவித்துள்ளது. சந்திரயான் 3 விண்கலம் மூலம் நிலவின் தென் துருவத்தில் மெதுவாக தரையிறங்கிய முதல் நாடு என்ற பெருமையை இந்தியா பெற்றது.
• இந்நிலையில், அமெரிக்காவில் கொலரோடாவில் வருடாந்திர விண்வெளி கருத்தரங்கம் நடைபெற்றது. அதில், விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சிக்காக, சந்திரயான் 3 திட்ட குழுவுக்கு மிகவும் மதிப்பு வாய்ந்த ஜான் எல்.'ஜேக் ஸ்விகெர்ட் ஜூனியர் விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது. 
• அந்த விருதை 'இஸ்ரோ' சார்பில் ஹூஸ்டன் நகரில் உள்ள இந்திய துணை தூதர் டி.சி.மஞ்சுநாத் பெற்றுக்கொண்டார். இது இந்தியாவுக்கு கிடைத்த மிகப்பெரிய கவுரவமாக பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

• JOHN L.JACK SWIGERT JR AWARD: ISRO said that the laser signal sent by the NASA spacecraft has received a reflected signal from the Vikram lander. With this, the Vikram lander has become a landmark at the South Pole. 
• The laser device in it is LRA. According to ISRO, it can operate for up to 10 years. India became the first country to make a soft landing on the south pole of the Moon with the Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft.
• In this case, the annual space conference was held in Colorado, USA. In it, the Chandrayaan 3 project team was awarded the prestigious John L. Jake Swigert Jr. Award for Space Research yesterday. DC Manjunath, Deputy Consul General of India in Houston received the award on behalf of 'ISRO'. It is considered as India's greatest honour.
