Agreement for investment of Rs 540 crore with Edipan - Signed in the presence of Chief Minister M. K. Stalin
- 'Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin (B.05) in Madrid, Spain, Gestamp, the world's leading company in the production of auto spare parts, Edipan, a manufacturer of tools for engineering design and vocational education, Talco, a leading company in the train manufacturing industry, and the research of high-tech biological materials.
- He met the senior executives of Mapletree Company, which also carries out manufacturing, and informed them about the conditions for business investment in Tamil Nadu, which has rich natural gas, and invited them to invest in Tamil Nadu.
- As a result of this meeting, a memorandum of understanding worth Rs.540 crore was signed with Edipan in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stal. During this meeting, Industry, Investment Promotion and Commerce Minister D.R.P. Raja, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of 'Guidance' V. Vishnu, Chief Minister's Secretary P. Umanath were also present.'

- Tests were conducted to safely release the booster, launch the missile, and achieve the planned missile velocity. The missile is designed to fly autonomously with the help of an indigenously developed autopilot by ATE.
- In a move to facilitate ease of trade through the concept of 'One Country, One Product, One Regulation', the Food Safety and Standards Commission of India recently in its 43rd meeting chaired by Union Health Secretary Mr. Apoorva Chandra in New Delhi, approved various measures to regulate food safety and quality standards. The amendments were approved.
- The meeting also approved various amendments in various food safety and quality regulations to cancel the Indian Standardization Organization or Akmark certification for food products.
- After the amendments are finalized, food businesses will not have to approach various authorities for mandatory certification. Certification is only mandatory for food products.
- Other approvals include standards for mead (honey wine), alcohol ready-to-drink, beverages standards, revising standards for milk fat products, haleem etc.
- Amendments to various food safety and quality regulations were approved in the draft notification meeting to seek feedback from stakeholders before finalizing the approval. These regulations include revising the standards of milk fat products.
- The Food Authority is going to set 'Haleem' standards as part of standards for meat products. Haleem is a dish made of meat, pulses, grains and other ingredients, which currently has no standard.
