Prime Minister inaugurated Bharat Tex 2024 in New Delhi
  • Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today inaugurated one of the largest global textile event Bharat Tex 2024 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The Prime Minister also visited the exhibition displayed on the occasion.
  • Bharat Tex 2024 is organized from 26-29 February. Organized by a consortium of 11 textile export promotion councils and supported by the government, BharatTex 2024 is built on the twin pillars of trade and investment, with a strong focus on sustainability. The four-day event featured more than 65 sessions
The Prime Minister laid foundation stone, inaugurated and dedicated to the country over 2000 railway infrastructure projects worth around Rs.41,000 crore
  • Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and dedicated it to the country today through video. 500 railway stations, 1500 lakhs of people from other places joined the event of India's Growing Railways.
  • Prime Minister inaugurated and dedicated to the nation 1500 road flyovers and tunnels. Spread over 24 states and union territories, these road flyovers and tunnels have a total cost of around Rs 21,520 crore. These projects will reduce traffic congestion, improve safety and connectivity, and improve the efficiency of rail travel.
Palestinian Prime Minister resigns
  • The Palestinian territories in the West Bank, occupied by Israel and Palestine, are governed by a government called the Palestinian Authority, led by Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh.
  • In this case, Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayye has expressed his desire to dissolve the government led by him in Palestine and take charge of a new government. Following this, he has submitted his resignation letter to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas today (February 26).
  • He said that this decision has been taken in response to the continuous attack by the Israeli army in the Gaza area, and that after the end of the war in Gaza, it would be best to form a new government to manage Palestine in the post-war environment.

  • With the resignation of the government led by Muhammad Shtayyeh, there are expectations that a new government will be formed in Palestine with the support of the United States.
