Resolutions against One Country One Election, Constituency Reorganization - Unanimous passage in the Assembly
- The first session of the Tamil Nadu Assembly for the year began yesterday with the Governor's speech. In the third day of the session today, two separate resolutions were brought that no re-delineation of constituencies on the basis of population and no implementation of the same electoral scheme by the same country. These resolutions were proposed and addressed by Chief Minister M.K.Stalin in the Legislative Assembly.

- Speaker Appavu announced that based on the voice vote held, the government's separate resolutions brought by the Chief Minister against the One Country One Election and Constituency Reorganization were unanimously passed in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.
