• சமூக சேவை மற்றும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பு விருது 2024 / COMMUNITY SERVICE AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AWARD 2024: 'சமூக சேவை' மற்றும் 'சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பு' ஆகிய பிரிவுகளின்கீழ் விருது வழங்கப்படுவது குறித்த அறிவிப்பை, ஆளுநர் ஆர்.என்.ரவி கடந்த ஆண்டு ஜூன் 4-ம் தேதி வெளியிட்டார். 
• விருதுகளுக்காக பெறப்பட்ட விண்ணப்பங்கள் ஓய்வுபெற்ற உயர் நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதி தலைமையில் அமைக்கப்பட்ட குழுவால் ஆய்வு செய்யப்பட்டு, அவர்கள் அளித்த பரிந்துரைகளின் அடிப்படையில், விருதுகள் வென்றவர்கள் அறிவிக்கப்படுகின்றனர்.
• அதன்படி, 'சமூக சேவை' விருதை நிறுவனம் பிரிவில் நீலகிரி மாவட்டத்தில் ஆதிதிராவிடர் மற்றும் பழங்குடியினருக்கு சேவை செய்து வரும் ஊரக வளர்ச்சி அமைப்புக்கும், தனிநபர் பிரிவில் திருவண்ணாமலை ஜி.மதன் மோகன், சென்னை எம்.குபேந்திரன், தேனி என்.ரஞ்சித்குமார் ஆகியோருக்கு வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
• சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பு விருதை பொறுத்தவரை, நிறுவனம் பிரிவில், மதுரை மாவட்டம், பசுமை அமைதி காவலன் என்ற தொண்டு நிறுவனத்துக்கும் தனிநபர் பிரிவில், தருமபுரி ஊராட்சி ஒன்றிய பள்ளி ஆசிரியர் ஜி.தாமோதரன், திருநெல்வேலி சி.முத்துகிருஷ்ணன், விருதுநகர் வி.தலைமலை ஆகியோருக்கும் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. 
• விருதுகள் பெறும் நிறுவனங்களுக்கு தலா ரூ.5 லட்சம், சான்றிதழும், தனிநபர்களுக்கு தலா ரூ.2 லட்சம் மற்றும் பாராட்டு சான்றிதழும் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
• ஜன.26-ம் தேதி ஆளுநர் மாளிகையில் நடைபெறும் குடியரசு தின வரவேற்பு நிகழ்ச்சியில் ஆளுநர் ஆர்.என்.ரவியால் விருதுகள் வழங்கப்படும்.

• COMMUNITY SERVICE AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AWARD 2024: Governor RN Ravi announced the award under the categories of 'Community Service' and 'Environmental Protection' on June 4 last year. The applications received for the awards are scrutinized by a committee headed by a retired High Court judge and based on their recommendations, the winners are announced.
• Accordingly, the 'Community Service' award is given to the Rural Development Organization serving the Adi Dravidas and Tribals in the Nilgiris district in the corporate category and G. Madhan Mohan of Thiruvannamalai, M. Kubendran, Theni N. Ranjithkumar of Chennai in the individual category.
• In terms of environmental protection award, in the corporate category, Madurai District, Green Peace Guard, a charitable organization, and in the individual category, Dharmapuri Panchayat Union School Teacher G. Damodaran, Tirunelveli C. Muthukrishnan, Virudhunagar V. Thalaimalai. 
• Awardees are awarded Rs 5 lakh each and a certificate, while individuals are awarded Rs 2 lakh each and a certificate of appreciation. The awards will be presented by Governor RN Ravi at the Republic Day reception to be held at the Governor's House on January 26.
