GST Revenue for the month of November 2023
- In the statement issued by the Union Finance Ministry regarding the collection of GST tax last month, the GST revenue for the month of November is Rs 1,67,929 crore.
- Of this, CGST Rs 30,420 crore, SGST Rs 38,226 crore, IGST (including Rs 39,198 crore on imports) Rs 87,009 crore and Cess tax (including Rs 1,036 crore on imports) Rs 12,274 crore,'' it said.
- Last October's GST revenue was Rs 1.72 lakh crore. It is noteworthy that the collection has increased by 15 percent to Rs.1.68 crore as compared to Rs.1.45 lakh crore in the same period of the last financial year.
- Last September, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) launched Aditya L-1, a state-of-the-art spacecraft to explore the outer reaches of the Sun, on a PSLV C-57 rocket.
- About 15 lakh km from Earth. The spacecraft is stationed at the distant 'Lagrangian Point One'. While there, 'Aditya' is designed to carry out studies on various aspects of the outer part of the Sun including thermal environment, radiation, magnetic field. In this case, ISRO has officially announced that Aditya L1 has started its exploration work.
- The Aspex payload has launched an experiment on particles in the solar wind. It is doing its job normally. Aspex is equipped with two instruments namely Solar wind Ion Spectrometer (Swis) and SupraThermal and Energetic Particle Spectrometer (Steps). Steppes began his duties on September 10.
- The Swiss instrument began its work on November 2. The Swiss instrument has begun to study ions in the solar wind, particularly protons and alpha particles. According to the histogram of the sample it sent, H+ proton and He2+ helium are present in the solar wind.
- The Swiss instrument detects the difference in the alpha-proton ratio in the solar wind. Through this, the instrument has confirmed that it has the ability to provide indirect information about the occurrence of Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) at L1, the Lagrangian point of the Sun.
- This information is seen as another milestone for ISRO. Information on coronal mass ejections is considered very important in space exploration.
