• தொழிற்பயிற்சி நிலையங்களின் (அரசு மற்றும் தனியார்) பயிற்றுநர்களுக்காக டி.ஜி.டிஏற்பாடு செய்துள்ள "வேலைவாய்ப்பு, தொழில் முனைவோர் மற்றும் வாழ்க்கைத் திறன்கள்" குறித்த பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கான 5 நாள் ஆன்லைன் பயிற்சித் திட்டத்திற்காக டி.ஜி.டி மற்றும் என்.ஐ.இ.எஸ்.பி.யு.டி இடையே புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்திடப்பட்டுள்ளது. தொழிற்பயிற்சி நிலையங்களில் பயிற்சி பெறுவோருக்கு சுயதொழில் வாய்ப்புகளை மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கில் தொழில் முனைவோர் திறன் மற்றும் கல்வியின் நிலையான வளர்ச்சிக்காக இப்பயிற்சி வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• புதிய காலப் பயிற்சிகள்: தற்போது, கைவினைஞர்கள் பயிற்சித் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் 152 தேசிய தொழில்களில் தொழிற்பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
• 2023-24-ம் கல்வியாண்டு முதல் சி.ஐ.டி.எஸ்/சி.டி.எஸ்-ன் கீழ் பெண்களுக்கான கல்வி மற்றும் தேர்வுகளுக்கான கட்டண தளர்வுக்கு ஒப்புதல் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• Revival of Vocational Training Institutes (ITIs): Strong balance in skill training from pre-independence period.
• In 2014, 10119 companies were established and since then 4621 companies have been added, taking the total number to 14953 in 2022. This is an increase of 47.77 percent.
• More than 25 lakh seats are available for the sessions for 2021-2023. More than 5 lakh seats have been added since 2014. Total seating capacity increased by 25%.
• So far 17,175 seater coaches have been built. 5710 seats have been added since 2014. Total capacity increased by 49.8%.
• 223 courses introduced so far (150-CTS, 55-CITS, 14- STD and 04 Advanced Diploma). 61 courses have been added since 2014.
• National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs) opened in 2015 with 3 extension centres.
• MoUs have been signed under the Flexi MoU scheme under the revised scheme guidelines issued in March 2019. As of November 30, 2022, 13 MoUs have been signed under the Plexi MoU.
• TGD signed MoUs with Army, Navy and Air Force on 26 December 2022 under TGD's Flexi-Memorandum scheme for competency certification of Agniveer by recognizing competency acquired during training and service. Firefighters, after leaving the armed forces, will be issued competency certificates based on their merit and experiential learning during service; Ensuring that these Agniveeras get job opportunities in industries after 4 years of service. The Agniveer service consists of the following modules:
• MoU signed between National Institute of Open School Education under Ministry of Education, Skill Development, Directorate of Training under Ministry of Entrepreneurship on developing linkages between school education and vocational education/skills.
• DGT and NIESPUT for a 5-day online training program for trainers on “Employability, Entrepreneurship and Life Skills” organized by DGT for trainers of Vocational Training Institutes (Government and Private). A memorandum of understanding has been signed between The training is designed for sustainable development of entrepreneurial skills and education with a view to improving self-employment opportunities for trainees in vocational training institutes.
• New Era Apprenticeships: At present, Apprenticeships are being imparted in 152 national industries under the Artisans Apprenticeship Scheme.
• Fee relaxation for education and examinations for girls under CITS/CDS has been approved from the academic year 2023-24.
• DGT has sanctioned 116 ITIs and 32 ITIs to conduct drone related courses in ITIs by 2022.
• DGT conducted 2nd Skill Graduation Ceremony 2023 on 12 October 2023 for more than 8.5 lakh trainees of more than 14,000 ITIs at national, state and ITI level.
