• மின்னணுத் துறையில் கவனம் செலுத்தி தொழில்நுட்ப புரட்சியை இந்தியா முன்னெடுத்து வருகிறது. புரட்சியின் ஒரு பகுதியாக, செமிகண்டக்டர்கள் ஒரு தவிர்க்க முடியாத பாத்திரத்தை வகிக்கின்றன மற்றும் தகவல்தொடர்பு, பாதுகாப்பு, வாகன உற்பத்தி, கணினி சாதனங்கள் உள்ளிட்டவை அனைத்து துறைகளிலும் பயன்பாடுகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளன. நாட்டின் முன்னேற்றத்தின் முக்கிய தூணான 'மின்னணு' தற்சார்பு இந்தியா என்ற தொலைநோக்கு பார்வையை வலுப்படுத்துவதன் மூலம், இந்தியா அதன் மதிப்பு விநியோகத்தை விரிவுபடுத்தவும் ஆழப்படுத்தவும், உலகத் தரம் வாய்ந்த செமிகண்டக்டர் உற்பத்தி சூழலை எளிதாக்கவும் தயாராக உள்ளது.
• இந்தியா செமிகண்டக்டர் இயக்கம் ஜூலை 2023-ல் செமிகான் இந்தியா 2023 மாநாட்டை 'இந்தியாவின் செமிகண்டக்டர் சுற்றுச்சூழல் அமைப்பு' என்ற கருப்பொருளுடன் நடத்தியது. இந்த மாநாட்டில் 23 நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த 8,000-க்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர். செமிகான் இந்தியா 2023-ல் மைக்ரான் டெக்னாலஜி, அப்ளைடு மெட்டீரியல்ஸ், ஃபாக்ஸ்கான், கேடன்ஸ், ஏஎம்டி போன்ற முக்கிய உலகளாவிய நிறுவனங்களின் தொழில்துறை தலைவர்கள் மற்றும் தொழில்துறை சங்கமான செமி ஆகியவற்றின் தொழில்துறை தலைவர்கள் பங்கேற்றனர்.
• புதுதில்லியில் மூன்று நாள் நடைபெற்ற செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவுக்கான உலகளாவிய கூட்டாண்மை கண்காட்சியில் 150-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட புத்தொழில் நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் முக்கிய தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனங்கள் தங்கள் செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு பயன்பாடுகள் மற்றும் தயாரிப்புகளை காட்சிப்படுத்தின.

• ஜி 20-டிஜிட்டல் கண்டுபிடிப்பு கூட்டணி (டிஐஏ) திட்டம்:மின்னணு மற்றும் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப அமைச்சகம் 2023 ஆகஸ்ட்17 முதல் 19வரை பெங்களூரில் ஜி 20-டிஜிட்டல் கண்டுபிடிப்பு கூட்டணி திட்டத்தை ஏற்பாடு செய்தது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை மின்னணு மற்றும் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறை இணையமைச்சரும், மத்திய தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறை செயலாளரும் தொடங்கி வைத்தனர். 23 நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த 109 புத்தொழில் நிறுவனங்கள் பங்கேற்ற இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் துறை வாரியாக அமர்வுகள் நடைபெற்றன.

• Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Activities 2023: The three-day Semicon India 2023 was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi inaugurated and in his keynote address emphasized the role of semiconductors in people's daily lives and how India is committed to building a semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem under the Semicon India programme. Mr. Ashwini Vaishnav, Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Communications and Railways, Government of India highlighted the Prime Minister's contribution in transforming every sector in electronics manufacturing, especially semiconductors. Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Addressing the gathering, Bhupendra Patel appreciated the Prime Minister's visionary guidance in the manufacturing landscape, especially electronics and semiconductors.
• India is leading a technological revolution with a focus on the electronics sector. As part of the revolution, semiconductors are playing an indispensable role and have applications in all sectors including communication, defense, automotive manufacturing, computer equipment. India is poised to expand and deepen its value delivery and facilitate a world-class semiconductor manufacturing environment by reinforcing the vision of an 'electronic' self-reliant India as a key pillar of the country's progress.
• The India Semiconductor Movement organized the Semicon India 2023 conference in July 2023 with the theme 'India's Semiconductor Ecosystem'. More than 8,000 people from 23 countries attended the conference. SemiconIndia 2023 was attended by industry leaders from key global companies such as Micron Technology, Applied Materials, Foxconn, Cadence, AMD and industry association Semi.
• Over 150 industrial companies and leading technology companies showcased their artificial intelligence applications and products at the three-day Global Partnership for Artificial Intelligence Expo in New Delhi.
• India takes the lead as the incoming support leader of the Global Partnership for Artificial Intelligence, hosting the annual GPAI Summit 2023 from December 12 to 14 in New Delhi. The GBAI Summit began bringing together representatives from 28 member states and the European Union, creating an extraordinary platform for in-depth discussions on the urgent issues shaping the emerging landscape of artificial intelligence.
• The GPAI New Delhi Declaration created a consensus among GPAI members on advancing safe, reliable artificial intelligence and a commitment to support sustainability of GPAI projects.
• India plays a leading role in the field of artificial intelligence talent and ideas related to artificial intelligence.
• India is a global hub for artificial intelligence innovation.
• The first India Stack Developer Conference was held in January 2023
• The first India STOCK Developer Conference was inaugurated by Mr Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology and Skill Development, Entrepreneurship. More than 100 digital leaders from trade associations, industry, IT integrators, and innovation companies participated in the event.
• Prime Minister Mr. The Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Narendra Modi approved the incentive scheme to promote RuPay debit cards and low-value BIM-UBI transactions for a period of one year from April 2022.
• In the financial year 2022-23, there is an allocation of Rs 2,600 crore for the approved incentive scheme to promote RuPay debit cards and low-value BEAM-UPI transactions (P2M). Under the scheme, acquiring banks will be given financial incentives to promote point-of-sale (POS) and e-commerce transactions using RuPay debit cards and low-value BEAM-UPI transactions (P2M) in the preceding financial year 2022-23.
• G20-Digital Innovation Alliance (DIA) Program: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology organized the G20-Digital Innovation Alliance Program in Bangalore from 17th to 19th August 2023. The event was inaugurated by the Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology and the Union Secretary for Information Technology. 109 industrial companies from 23 countries participated in the event and sector-wise sessions were held.
• At the closing ceremony, the Minister of Electronics and Information Technology and other dignitaries presented awards to the top 30 industrial companies
