நிசார் செயற்கைக்கோள் / NISAR SATELITE: இந்தியா மற்றும் அமெரிக்கா கூட்டுத் தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு வரும் 'நிசார்' செயற்கைக்கோள், கடல் மட்டத்தின் உயரம், பனிக்கட்டி உருகும் தன்மை, எரிமலை வெடிப்பு, நிலத்தடி நீர்மட்டம் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு தரவுகளைத் துல்லிய தன்மையுடன் கொடுக்கக் கூடிய திறன் பெற்றது.
இந்த செயற்கைக்கோளின் வெப்ப வெற்றிடச் சோதனை பெங்களூருவில் உள்ள யுஆர்ராஜ் செயற்கைக்கோள் மையத்தில் நடைபெற்றது. இதில் உள்ள எல்-பேண்ட் ரேடாரை நாசா விஞ்ஞானிகளும், எக்ஸ்- பேண்ட் ரேடாரை இஸ்ரோ விஞ்ஞானிகளும் உருவாக்கியுள்ளனர்.
'நிசார்' செயற்கைக்கோள் 12 நாட்களுக்கு ஒருமுறை தரவுகளைப் புதுப்பிக்கும் திறன் கொண்டது என்றும், காலநிலை மாற்றத்தின் சூழலைத் தெளிவாகத் தெரிந்துக் கொள்ள முடியும் எனவும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
அடுத்தாண்டு ஜி.எஸ்.எல்.வி. ராக்கெட் மூலம் விண்ணில் அனுப்பப்படும் நிசார் செயற்கைக்கோள், மூன்று ஆண்டுகள் வரை செயல்படும்.
இந்தியா- அமெரிக்கா கூட்டு முயற்சியில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் செயற்கைக்கோள் என்பதால், விண்வெளித் துறையில் முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்ததாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.

NISAR SATELITE: The 'Nisar' satellite, which is being developed in joint technology between India and the US, is capable of providing accurate data on sea level rise, ice melting, volcanic eruptions and groundwater levels.
Thermal vacuum testing of this satellite was conducted at UR Raj Satellite Center in Bengaluru. The L-band radar in it has been developed by NASA scientists and the X-band radar by ISRO scientists.
It is said that the 'Nisar' satellite is capable of updating data every 12 days and can clearly identify the climate change situation. Next year GSLV Launched by a rocket, the Nisar satellite will operate for up to three years.
The satellite, developed by an India-US joint venture, is considered to be a landmark in the space industry.
