Short-range 'Prahayam' missile test-fired successful
- The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRPO) has developed short-range 'Prayam' missile for surface-to-surface attack and destruction. The missile was test-launched from APJ Abdul Kalam Island near Balasore coast in Odisha at 9.50 am yesterday. This test was successful.
- Pralayam missile has a range of 350 km. First 500 km. Able to reach and target. Capable of carrying loads ranging from 500 kg to 1,000 kg. The missile is designed to be deployed along the India-Pakistan Line of Control and the Line of Actual Control between India and China.
