Health Centers Name Change Arogya Mandir - Central Govt Notification
- 1.6 lakh Ayushman Bharat Yojana Health and Wellness Centers have been set up across the country in the last 5 years to provide primary health care services under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana scheme.
- Earlier, the central government was implementing a medical insurance scheme called 'Ayushman Bharat'. Under this, 'Ayushman Bharat- Health and Welfare Centres' have been set up.
- In this case, the central government has decided to change the name of these centers to 'Ayushman Arogya Mandir'. Union Health Ministry has written to states and union territories to implement this name change.
- It has asked to upload the photograph of the renamed centers on the website of 'Ayushman Bharat Health and Welfare Centres'.
- The first Gallo India Para Games 2023 logo and symbol, Ujjwala, was inaugurated by the Union Minister of Youth Welfare and Sports, Mr. Anurag Singh Thakur and several top sportsmen and para athletes in New Delhi.

- VP Singh was the Prime Minister of independent India in 1989-90. He passed away in 2008. In honor of former Prime Minister V.P.Singh, who gave many historic projects including Cauvery river lamp, 27 percent reservation for backward people, during his tenure in office, V.P.Singh Thiruvuruva was erected on behalf of Tamil Nadu at Madras State College at a cost of 52 lakhs. . This statue was inaugurated on the occasion of VP Singh Memorial Day.
- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin and Akhilesh Yadav inaugurated the statue of VP Singh on the occasion. The statue weighs 600 kg and stands on a pedestal about 8.5 feet high, with a height of 9.5 feet. The words of VP Singh are engraved in the inscription on which this statue is located.
