World Billiards Championship - 26 time Pankaj Advani champion
- The IPSF World Billiards Championship was held in Doha, the capital city of Qatar. In the final, India's Pankaj Advani played against fellow countryman Saurav Kothari.
- In this, Pankaj Advani won with the score of 1000-416 points and won the title of champion. This is Pankaj Advani's 26th World Billiards Championship title.
- The Embassy of India in Asia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, is organizing the ASEAN-India Small Grains Festival 2023 in Indonesia from November 22 to 26.
- The opening session of the festival was held in Kota Casablanca, a major shopping mall in South Jakarta, Indonesia. As part of the festival, an exhibition focusing on small grains is organized, in which small grain companies, Indian chefs participate.
- The objective of the festival is to create awareness and market for small grains and related products in Asian member countries like Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
- During this festival, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare leads a delegation from India representing various professionals involved in the Indian small grains ecosystem including chefs, industrialists, representatives of agro producer organizations, industry leaders, state officials and others.
- From November 23rd to 26th, this live cooking workshop will showcase the culinary potential of small grains by renowned chefs from India and Indonesia.
- Indian Navy's indigenously built Imphal frigate (Yard 12706)-missile destroyer has successfully completed its maiden Bramos test.
