India, Saudi Arabia sign three important MoUs

  • India and Saudi Arabia signed MoUs in Riyadh this afternoon in the areas of electricity connectivity, green, clean hydrogen and supply chains.
  • In Riyadh today, Union Minister of Power, New and Renewable Energy Mr. RK Singh and the Minister of Energy of the Government of Saudi Arabia Mr. The MoU was signed between Abdul Aziz bin Salman Al-Saud.
  • The MoU aims to create a common framework for cooperation between the two countries in the field of electrical communications. It also aims to co-produce green, clean hydrogen and renewable energy, and establish safe, reliable and flexible supply chains for materials used in the renewable energy sector.
  • Earlier, an Indian delegation led by the Minister for Power and New and Renewable Energy, Government of India Mr. RK Singh participated in the Middle East and North Africa Climate Week 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Rashtriya Raksha University MoU with Uganda Police Force
  • Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), on October 4, 2023, has taken a significant step to promote global cooperation in the fields of law enforcement and security education. The RRU signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Uganda Police Force at the Police Headquarters in Naguru, Uganda.
  • The MoU was signed by Commander Manoj Bhatt, Director of Admissions and Admissions, RRU, Mr Raveesh Shah, Head of ICOT of the university and AIGP Goluba Godfrey, Director of Human Resource Development.
  • The collaboration between the RRU and the Uganda Police Force aims to foster mutual understanding and knowledge exchange in the areas of law enforcement training, research and capacity building.
  • By joining forces, both organizations seek to enhance their educational programs and contribute to the professional development of law enforcement personnel.
  • Under this MoU, RRU and the Uganda Police Force will engage in various collaborative activities such as teacher exchange programmes, joint research projects, curriculum development initiatives and sharing of best practices in law enforcement education.
  • These efforts will enable both organizations to benefit from expertise and experience and ultimately lead to improved law enforcement practices in their respective countries.
