N.Senthilkumar, G.Arul Murugan assumed charge as Additional Judges of Madras High Court
- Justices N. Senthilkumar and G. Arul Murugan were sworn in as the new Additional Judges of the Madras High Court today. Chief Justice Gangapoorwala administered the oath to both of them.
- With the addition of two new judges, the number of Madras High Court judges has increased to 65. The number of vacancies has reduced to 10.

- In August-2023 it was (-) 0.52%. The main reason for the decline in monetary inflation in September 2023 was the decline in prices of chemicals and chemical products, mineral oils, textiles, base metals and food items compared to the same month last year.
