Hoisalar Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- The magnificent sacred symbols of the Hoysala temples have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The temples of the Hoysalas have timeless beauty and exquisite artistic skills. These are a testament to India's rich cultural heritage and the extraordinary craftsmanship of our forefathers.
- Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi expressed his happiness over inclusion of sacred symbols of Hoysalas in UNESCO's World Heritage List.
- Prime Minister Shri. Addressed by Narendra Modi. The special session will be held from 18th to 22nd September 2023. Addressing the House, the Prime Minister said it was an occasion to commemorate 75 years of India's Parliamentary journey before moving on to the newly inaugurated Parliament building.
- The 10th meeting of the India-Malaysia Joint Subcommittee on Defense Science, Technology and Industrial Cooperation was held today (18-09-2023) in New Delhi. The meeting was jointly chaired by Mr. Rajeev Prakash, Joint Secretary (Naval Organizations) of the Department of Defense Production under the Ministry of Defence, and Mr. Eris Jemadi Bin Tajudin, Deputy Secretary, Department of Defense, Ministry of Defense Malaysia.
- During the meeting, the current defense research and industrial cooperation between the two countries was reviewed and ideas of mutual interest were discussed. Both sides explored effective and practical initiatives to further expand the existing ties in the defense sector.
