Prime Minister Modi hoisted the flag at the Red Fort for the 10th time

• India's Independence Day was celebrated with great fervor across the country. In view of this, maximum security arrangements have been made in the capital Delhi. About 10,000 policemen are engaged in security. And 1,000 CCTVs. Cameras have been installed and surveillance work is being done. Drones are banned from flying in Delhi's Red Fort.
• 1,800 special guests have been invited to participate in the Independence Day celebrations. About 30,000 spectators are expected to attend the Independence Day parade. The National Security Force, Central Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force and Delhi Police jointly carried out security operations. 
• On the occasion of Independence Day, Prime Minister Modi hoisted the national flag and addressed the nation for the 10th time at the Red Fort. India was ranked 10th in the list of the world's largest economies in 2014. 
• Now the country has advanced to the 5th position. India will become the 3rd largest economy in the world in next 5 years. In the coming year 2047, when India celebrates its 100th Independence Day, it will emerge as a developed country.

• Chief Minister M.K. hoisted the tricolor flag on the 119-feet high flagpole located in St. George's Fort Kothalam in Chennai. Stalin paid his respects. Later, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who addressed the Independence Day, said,

First-of-its-kind artificial insemination treatment in the country - launched at Goa Government Hospital

• In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatment is the most common method of artificial insemination for couples who are unable to conceive naturally. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant yesterday launched free IVF treatment at Goa Government Medical College Hospital. 
• With this, Goa has become the first state in the country to offer free artificial insemination treatment. The Chief Minister inaugurated an Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI) center along with an IVF treatment center.
