• தமிழ்நாடு அரசின் சுதந்திர தின விருதுகள் 2023 / TAMILNADU INDEPENDENCE DAY AWARD 2023: சென்னை புனித ஜார்ஜ் கோட்டையில் நடந்த சுதந்திர தின விழாவில் முதல்வர் ஸ்டாலின், தேசியக் கொடியை ஏற்றிவைத்து உரையாற்றினார். பின்னர், பல்வேறு சாதனை படைத்தவர்களுக்கு விருதுகள், பதக்கங்களை முதல்வர் ஸ்டாலின் வழங்கினார்.
• திராவிடர் கழக தலைவர் கி.வீரமணிக்கு தகைசால் தமிழர் விருதுடன் ரூ.10 லட்சம் விருது தொகை, சான்றிதழ் ஆகியவற்றையும் முதல்வர் வழங்கினார். 
• மனித குலத்துக்கு பயனளிக்கும் ஆராய்ச்சிகளை மேற்கொண்ட விஐடி பல்கலைக்கழக கணித பேராசிரியர் டபிள்யூ.பி.வசந்தா கந்தசாமிக்கு அப்துல் கலாம் விருதையும், உலகின் மிக உயரமான எவரெஸ்ட் சிகரத்தில் ஏறிய செங்கல்பட்டு மாவட்டத்தை சேர்ந்த நா.முத்தமிழ்ச்செல்விக்கு வீரதீர செயலுக்கான கல்பனா சாவ்லா விருதையும் வழங்கினார்.
• காலை உணவு திட்டம் தொடர்பான செயலியை உருவாக்கியதற்காக தமிழ்நாடு மின்ஆளுமை முகமைக்கான முதல்வரின் நல்ஆளுமை விருதை, அதன் தலைமை செயல் அதிகாரி ரமண சரஸ்வதி பெற்றுக் கொண்டார். 
• ஆதரவற்ற நோயாளிகளுக்கு உயரிய சிகிச்சை மேற்கொண்டதற்காக சென்னை மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி முதல்வரும், ராஜீவ் காந்தி அரசு மருத்துவமனை டீனுமான தேரணி ராஜனுக்கும், பாலியல் ரீதியான குற்றங்கள் குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்திய கோவை எஸ்.பி. பத்ரிநாராயணன் ஆகியோருக்கும் நல்ஆளுமை விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது.
• மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகளுக்கு சிறந்த சேவையாற்றிய வகையில் மருத்துவர் த.ஜெயக்குமார், சிறந்த நிறுவனமான கன்னியாகுமரி சாந்தி நிலையம், சமூக பணியாளரான கோவை ரத்தன் வித்யாசேகர், அதிக அளவில் பணியமர்த்திய நிறுவனமான மதுரையின் டெடி எக்ஸ்போர்ட்ஸ், சிறந்த மத்திய கூட்டுறவு வங்கியான ராமநாதபுரம் மாவட்ட மத்திய கூட்டுறவு வங்கிக்கும் விருதுகளை முதல்வர் வழங்கினார்.

• சிறந்த உள்ளாட்சி அமைப்புகளை பொருத்தவரை, சென்னை மாநகராட்சியின் 9, 5-வது மண்டலங்கள், சிறந்த மாநகராட்சியாக திருச்சிக்கு முதல் பரிசு, தாம்பரத்துக்கு 2-ம் பரிசு, சிறந்த நகராட்சியாக ராமேசுவரம், திருத்துறைப்பூண்டி, மன்னார்குடிக்கு முதல் 3 பரிசுகள், சிறந்த பேரூராட்சியாக விழுப்புரம் - விக்கிரவாண்டி, புதுக்கோட்டை - ஆலங்குடி, சேலம் - வீரக்கல்புதூருக்கு முதல்வர் விருதுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.
• ஆண்கள் பிரிவில் நீலகிரி சி.தஸ்தகீர், திருச்சி ரா.தினேஷ்குமார், ராணிப்பேட்டை கோ.கோபி, செங்கல்பட்டு ப.ராஜசேகர் ஆகியோருக்கும், பெண்கள் பிரிவில் சென்னை மு.விஜயலட்சுமி, மதுரை செ.சந்திரலேகா, காஞ்சிபுரம் தா.கவிதா தாந்தோணி ஆகியோருக்கு முதல்வரின் மாநில இளைஞர் விருதுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.
• போதைப் பொருள் தடுப்புக்கான முதல்வரின் காவல் பதக்கத்தை, சென்னை காவல் கூடுதல் ஆணையர் அஸ்ரா கார்க், கோவை எஸ்.பி. பத்ரிநாராயணன், தேனி எஸ்.பி. டோங்ரே பிரவின் உமேஷ், நாமக்கல் உதவி ஆய்வாளர் சு.முருகன், நாமக்கல் முதல்நிலை காவலர் ஆர்.குமார் ஆகியோருக்கு முதல்வர் வழங்கினார். தொடர்ந்து, முதல்வருடன் அனைவரும் குழு புகைப்படம் எடுத்துக் கொண்டனர்.

• TAMILNADU INDEPENDENCE DAY AWARD 2023: Chief Minister Stalin hoisted the national flag and addressed the Independence Day function held yesterday at St. George's Fort, Chennai. Later, Chief Minister Stalin presented awards and medals to various achievers.
• The Chief Minister also presented a certificate and an award amount of Rs. 10 Lakhs for thagaisal award to Dravida Leader Veeramani.
• VIT University mathematics professor WP Vasantha Kandasamy, who has carried out researches beneficial to mankind, was presented with the Abdul Kalam Award and Kalpana Chawla Award for Heroic Deeds was given to N. Muthamichelelvi of Chengalpattu district, who climbed the world's highest peak Everest.
• Tamil Nadu E-Governance Agency's Chief Executive Officer Ramana Saraswathi received the Chief Executive Officer's Award for developing an app related to the breakfast programme.
• Coimbatore SP for creating awareness about sexual crimes to Terani Rajan, Principal of Chennai Medical College and Dean of Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital, for providing high quality treatment to destitute patients. Badrinarayanan was also given the Good Personality Award.
• The Chief Minister also presented awards to Dr. Jayakumar, best company Kanyakumari Shanti, social worker Coimbatore Ratan Vidyasekar, largest employer Teddy Exports Madurai and best central cooperative bank Ramanathapuram District Central Cooperative Bank for best service to the differently abled.
• Following this, on the stage set up in front of the Chief Secretariat building below the Fort Kothalam, the 'Light of the Village' charity from Kallakurichi district, who has worked well for the welfare of women, and D. Stanley Peter, Coimbatore, was also awarded as the best social worker.
• As far as the best local bodies are concerned, the 9th and 5th mandals of the Chennai Corporation, the first prize for Trichy as the best municipality, the 2nd prize for Tambaram, the first 3 prizes for Rameswaram, Thirutharapoondi, Mannargudi as the best municipality, the best municipality for Villupuram - Vikravandi, Pudukottai - Alangudi, Salem - Veerakalputur. Chief Minister's Awards were presented.
• The Chief Minister's State Youth Awards were given to Nilgiris C. Dastagir, Trichy Ra Dinesh Kumar, Ranipet Gopi, Chengalpattu P. Rajasekhar and Chennai M. Vijayalakshmi, Madurai S. Chandralekha, Kanchipuram D. Kavita Dandoni in the women's category.
• Chief Minister's Police Medal for Narcotics Prevention was presented to Chennai Additional Commissioner of Police Azra Garg, Coimbatore S.P. Badrinarayanan, Theni S.P Dongre Pravin Umesh, Namakkal Assistant Inspector S.Murugan and Namakkal Primary Constable R.Kumar. Afterwards, everyone took a group photo with the Chief Minister.
