• சைபர் அலர்ட் ஆப் செல்போன் செயலி / CYBER ALERT MOBILE APP: தொழில்நுட்பம் வளர்ந்து உலகமே ஒரு கிராமமாக மாறிவிட்ட சூழ்நிலையில் இணையதளத்தின் பயன்பாடு இன்று அசுர ஊர்ச்சி அடைந்திருக்கிறது. அதன் தொடர்ச்சியாக இணைய வெளி குற்றுக்களும் பெருகி வருகின்றன.

• சென்னை பெருநகர காவல் ஆணையாளர் சங்கர் ஜிவால் , இகாப, இன்று (28.08.2023) மாலை வேப்பேரி, காவல் ஆணையாளர் அலுவலகம், 2வது தளத்தில் உள்ள கலந்தாய்வு கூடத்தில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்து கொண்டு CYBER ALERT APP’ என்னும் புதிய செல்போன் செயயியை துவக்கி வைத்தார்.
• இந்த செயலியின் வழியாக சைபர் குற்றவாளிகள் பயன்படுத்திய மொபைல் எண்கள். வங்கி கணக்குகள், சமூக வலைதள கணக்குகள், இமெயில் ஐடிகள், வெப்சைட்டுகள் போன்றவை சென்னை பெருநகர காவல் துறையின் 20 காவல் பிரிவுகளால் உள்ளீடு செய்யப்படுகிறது. 
• மொபைல் எண்களோ அல்லது ஒன்றிற்கும் மேற்பட்ட மற்ற தரவுகளோ வழக்குகளில் தொடர்புடையதாக இருப்பின் அந்த வழக்குகள் ஒருங்கிணைந்து இந்த செயலியின் மூலம் வகைப்படுத்தப்படும்.

• Cybercriminals are also adept at exploiting new technologies and deceiving people even before they are available to the general public. Those who used to use bank accounts for their own profit, are now scamming crypto wallets by starting money transfer wallets. 
• Innumerable mobile numbers, virtual numbers, apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, temporary websites and various bank accounts are used to commit the crime. Currently offering part time job. There are dozens of cases of online crypto investment scams.
• These crimes are committed by organized groups. Also, cases related to cyber crimes are registered in all police stations, in this case, by classifying the crimes and linking them with the information of the criminals, the criminals can be easily identified and arrested, as per the order of the Commissioner of Police, Perugarh, Chennai Perunaka Police, Central Crime Cell, Cyber Crime Cell, has launched a cell phone application called “CYBER ALERT APP”. • Mobile numbers used by cybercriminals through this app. Bank accounts, social networking accounts, email IDs, websites etc. are entered by 20 police units of Chennai Metropolitan Police Department. If mobile numbers or more than one other data are related to the cases then those cases will be classified together through this app. 
• Information about it will be sent to concerned police units and higher authorities. Also periodic reports, crime type reports, same data reports etc. can be obtained through this processor. 
• Through this, higher officials can monitor cyber crime data, advise the investigating officers, and set up special forces to enhance the arrest of large numbers of criminals abroad.
• This Cyber Alert App will play a key role in categorizing the growing cyber crime, collating crime data and thereby highlighting inter-related crimes. This will make it easier to arrest cyber criminals. This Cyber Alert App, which has been implemented as a pilot program in the Chennai Metropolitan Police Commission, is to be expanded to the whole of Tamil Nadu.
