Rs 12,600 crore projects in Uttar Pradesh, Rs 7,600 crore projects in Chhattisgarh - Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched
- Prime Minister Modi participated in a function held in Chhattisgarh capital Raipur yesterday. Then Prime Minister Modi launched the national highway projects between Raipur-Kodebot and Bilaspur-Badrapali.
- He inaugurated a 103 km railway line between Raipur-Khariyar, a new 17 km railway line between Kyoti and Andagarh and a plant for the Indian Oil Corporation at Gorba. Apart from this, he also initiated distribution of user cards under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. He started a new train service between Andahar and Raipur.
- In total, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched various projects worth Rs 7,600 crore and laid foundation stones for many projects. Centenary celebrations of Gita Publishing House in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh were held yesterday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in it.
- After this Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two Vande Bharat trains at Gorakhpur railway station. Accordingly Vande Bharat train services have been started between Gorakhpur-Lucknow and Jodhpur-Ahmedabad. Prime Minister Modi also laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs.500 crore at Gorakhpur railway station.
- After this PM Modi went to his constituency Varanasi where he inaugurated various projects worth Rs.12,100 crore and laid the foundation stone for many projects.
Kalaignar Mahalir Urima Thokai Thittam
- The scheme, which provides Rs.1000 per month to a girl, is named as Kalaignar Mahalir Urima Thokai Thittam.
- Under the leadership of Chief Minister M. K. Stalin yesterday in Chennai, through video from the camp office, a consultation was held with all the District Government Heads regarding the implementation of the Artist Women's Entitlement Scheme which provides Rs. 1000 per month to the daughter.
- Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has ordered all District Collectors. The project will be launched on Anna's birthday, September 15. Nearly one and a half crore applications are expected to be received to avail the benefits of this scheme.
- This MoU has been signed to implement TEALS (Technical Education And Learning Support) project. The TEALS program will be implemented to reach all the technology literate students from rural areas of Tamil Nadu.
- Chief Minister Stalin launched the STEM initiative through the Rainbow Forum programme. The science skills of the students are being promoted with the help of 710 experts to encourage the inventiveness of the students. As the next step, a historic MoU has been signed with Microsoft to make robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning technologies available to our rural students.
- The Election Commission of India and the Electoral Tribunal of Panama today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to create an institutional framework for cooperation in the field of election management and administration.
- The delegation led by the Chief Election Commissioner of India, Mr. Rajiv Kumar, held discussions with the Chief Executive of the Electoral Commission of Panama, Mr. Alfredo Junca Wendeke, on strengthening coordination and exchange of information between the election management systems of the two countries.
- During this conversation, the First Deputy Chief Executive of Panama, Mr. Eduardo Valdez Escoferí, and the Second Deputy Chief Executive, Mr. Luis A. Guevara Morales were present.
- Neyveli Lignite Coal Company has won the Government e-Market Award for the year 2023 in the category of “Timely Payments (Central Public Sector Undertakings)” for its outstanding contribution in improving reliability in e-market practice as per the vision of Government e-market.
- The award was received by Mr K Mohan Reddy, Director (Planning and Projects) on behalf of Neyveli Brown Coal Company.
- Ministry of Defence, New Delhi, July 07, 2023 An agreement was signed today in New Delhi with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the purchase of two Tornier aircraft for the Indian Coast Guard. The contract, worth Rs 458.87 crore, was signed by the Ministry of Defense and Hindustan Aeronautics.
- The aircraft will be equipped with several advanced equipment such as glass cockpit, maritime patrol radar, electro-optic infra-red device, mission management system. It will also further enhance the maritime aerial surveillance capability of the Indian Coast Guard. .
- The Dornier aircraft are being manufactured indigenously at HAL (Transport Aircraft Division) in Kanpur and will significantly contribute to achieving self-reliance in defense in line with the government's 'Make in India' initiative.
