Tamil Inscription Tiles at Dulukarpatti Excavation
  • Archeology Minister Thangam Thennarasu shared on his Twitter page that excavations in Dulukarpatti village on the south bank of Nambiar, Tirunelveli District, Radhapuram Union, have again found potsherds inscribed with Tamil script. There is an archaeological mound in Dulukarpatti village on 36 acres.
  • This year, the second phase of excavation work started there. In this, a black-red colored pot with the letters 'Puli' engraved on it was found. In this case, three potsherds have also been found to have Tamil inscriptions. It consists of discontinuous broken areas. The potsherds that have been found now have Tamil script inscriptions of 'Theeya, Disa, Kwira(n)'.

  • India currently holds the rotating chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) which has 9 members including India, Russia, China and Pakistan.
