Ultimate Table Tennis Season 4 Tournament - Goa Challengers Champion
- The Indian Oil Ultimate Table Tennis Season 4 was held at the Shivchatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. Chennai Lions - Goa Challengers clashed in the final match. In the first men's singles match, Benedict Duda of Chennai played against Harmeet Desai of Goa. In this, Harmeet Desai defeated Duda, ranked 33rd in the world, 1-2 (11-6, 4-11, 8-11).
- In the women's singles round 2, Chennai's Yangzi Liu took on Goa's Sudhasini. Yangxi Liu won the match 2-1 (7-11, 11-6, 11-5). In the 3rd round mixed doubles, Chennai's Sharad Kamal and Yangxi Liu faced Goa's Harmeet Desai and Sudhasini. In this, Sharad Kamal and Yangxi Liu won by 2-1 (11-7,11-9,10-11) sets.
- In the 4th men's singles match, Chennai's Sharad Kamal had a toe-to-toe with world number 47 Alvaro Robles of Goa. Sharad Kamal, ranked 32nd, lost 0-3 (8-11, 8-11, 10-11). Alvaroble's win gave Goa a 7-5 lead.
- In the final women's singles match, Chennai's Sudhirtha Mukherjee faced Goa's Reeth Rishya. Reeth Rishya defeated Sudhirtha Mukherjee 11-6 as Goa Challengers won 8-7 to win the title.
- On the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of the New National Education Policy 2020, the All India Education Conference called Akila Bharatiya Siksha Samagam 2023 is being held for two days (29.07.2023 and 30.07.2023) at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
- Union Education Minister Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan launched a mobile application called Ullas. This Ullas mobile application is developed with the aim of understanding Lifelong Learning for All in Society (ULLAS Understanding Lifelong Learning for All in Society).
- This app will bridge gaps in basic literacy and critical life skills. It provides basic education, digital and financial literacy life skills to those aged 15 and above who are deprived of the opportunity to go to school. The program is run by volunteers.
