Chief Minister M.K.Stalin inaugurated the kalaignar library
  • A huge library with modern facilities has been built at Chokkikulam on Madurai Pudhunattam Road. Chief Minister M.K.Stalin inaugurated this library which is attached to the Kalaignar Centenary Welfare Scheme.
  • The Chief Minister inaugurated the Karunanidhi statue near the gate of the library. Karunanidhi paid tribute to the portrait by sprinkling flowers.
  • Later, at 5.04 pm, the Chief Minister cut the ribbon and inaugurated the Kalaignar Centenary Library. The ministers were accompanied by HCL Founder Shiv Nadar and Chairman Roshini Nadar.
  • The Chief Minister inaugurated the inscription near the library reception. The Chief Minister visited the photographic displays showing the past and development of Madurai kept in the art gallery of the library.
