• காந்தி அமைதி விருது 2021 / GANDHI PEACE PRIZE 2021: காந்தி அமைதிப் பரிசு என்பது மகாத்மா காந்தியின் 125வது பிறந்தநாளின் போது, மகாத்மா காந்தியின் கொள்கைகளுக்கு மரியாதை செலுத்தும் வகையில், 1995 ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்திய அரசால் நிறுவப்பட்டு ஆண்டுதோறும் வழங்கப்படும் விருதாகும். இந்த விருது தேசியம், இனம், மொழி, சாதி, மதம் அல்லது பாலினம் ஆகியவற்றைப் பொருட்படுத்தாது, அனைவருக்குமானது.
• இந்த விருது இந்திய பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி, இந்திய தலைமை நீதிபதி மற்றும் பாராளுமன்ற எதிர்க்கட்சி தலைவர் உள்ளிட்ட குழுவினரால் தேர்வு செய்யப்படுகிறது. 
• இந்த விருது ரூ. 1 கோடி ரிக்கப்பரிசும், ஒரு சான்றிதழ் , ஒரு தகடு மற்றும் ஒரு பாரம்பரிய நேர்த்தியான கைவினை/கைத்தறி பொருள் கொண்டதாகும்.
• இஸ்ரோ, ராமகிருஷ்ணா மிஷன், பங்களாதேஷின் கிராமின் வங்கி, விவேகானந்த கேந்திரா கன்னியாகுமரி, அட்சய பாத்ரா பெங்களூரு, ஏகல் அபியான் டிரஸ்ட், இந்தியா மற்றும் சுலப் இன்டர்நேஷனல், புது தில்லி போன்ற அமைப்புகள் இதற்கு முன் இப்பரிசுகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளன. 
• இது மறைந்த டாக்டர் நெல்சன் மண்டேலா, தென்னாப்பிரிக்காவின் முன்னாள் அதிபர் போன்ற பிரபலங்களுக்கும் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
•  டான்சானியாவின் முன்னாள் ஜனாதிபதி ஜூலியஸ் நைரேரே, சர்வோதய ஷ்ரமதான இயக்கத்தின் ஸ்தாபகத் தலைவர் ஏ.டி. ஆரியரத்ன இலங்கை, டாக்டர். ஜெர்ஹார்ட் பிஷ்ஷர், ஜெர்மனி; திரு. ஜான் ஹியூம், அயர்லாந்து; வக்லாவ் ஹேவல், செக்கோஸ்லோவாக்கியாவின் முன்னாள் ஜனாதிபதி, தென்னாப்பிரிக்காவின் பேராயர் டெஸ்மண்ட்டுட்டு, ஸ்ரீ சண்டி பிரசாத் பட் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீ யோஹெய் சசகாவா, ஜப்பான். ஆகியோர் இதற்கு முன் விருது பெற்றவர்கள் ஆவர்.
• சுல்தான் கபூஸ் பின் சையது அல் சையது, ஓமன் (2019) மற்றும் பங்கபந்து ஷேக் முஜிபுர் ரஹ்மான் (2020), வங்கதேசம் ஆகியோர் சமீபத்தில் விருது பெற்றவர்கள்.
• மாண்புமிகு பிரதமர் தலைமையிலான நடுவர் குழு, 18 ஜூன், 2023 அன்று, சமூக, பொருளாதாரத்திற்கான சிறந்த பங்களிப்பை அங்கீகரிக்கும் வகையில், 2021 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான காந்தி அமைதிப் பரிசைப் பெறுவதற்கு கோரக்பூரில் உள்ள கீதா பதிப்பகத்தை தேர்ந்தெடுக்க ஒருமனதாக முடிவு செய்தது.
• 1923 இல் நிறுவப்பட்ட கீதா பதிப்பகம், 16.21 கோடி ஸ்ரீமத் பகவத் கீதை உட்பட 14 மொழிகளில் 41.7 கோடி புத்தகங்களை வெளியிட்டுள்ள, உலகின் மிகப்பெரிய பதிப்பகங்களில் ஒன்றாகும்.
• நிறுவனம் வருமானம் ஈட்டுவதற்காக அதன் வெளியீடுகளில் விளம்பரங்களை ஒருபோதும் நம்பியதில்லை. கீதா பதிப்பகம், அதனுடன் இணைந்த அமைப்புகளுடன் இணைந்து, வாழ்வின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்காகவும், அனைவரின் நல்வாழ்வுக்காகவும் பாடுபடுகிறது

• GANDHI PEACE PRIZE 2021: The Gandhi Peace Prize is an annual award established by the Government of India in 1995 to honor the principles of Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 125th birth anniversary. This award is open to all irrespective of nationality, race, language, caste, religion or sex.
• The award is selected by a committee including the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, the Chief Justice of India and the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament. The award is worth Rs. 1 crore recovery, which consists of a certificate, a plaque and a traditional fine handicraft/handicraft item.
• Organizations such as ISRO, Ramakrishna Mission, Grameen Bank of Bangladesh, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Akshaya Batra Bangalore, Egal Abyan Trust, India and Sulabh International, New Delhi have received these awards before. 
• It has also been awarded to celebrities like the late Dr. Nelson Mandela, former President of South Africa. Former President of Tanzania, Julius Nyerere, founding leader of the Sarvodaya Shramadhana Movement, A.T. Ariyaratne Sri Lanka, Dr. Gerhard Fischer, Germany; Mr. John Hume, Ireland; Vaclav Havel, former President of Czechoslovakia, Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, Sri Chandi Prasad Bhatt and Sri Yohei Sasakawa, Japan. are previous awardees.
• Sultan Qaboos bin Syed Al Syed, Oman (2019) and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (2020), Bangladesh are recent awardees.
• A panel of judges headed by the Hon'ble Prime Minister unanimously decided on 18th June, 2023 to select Gita Publishing House, Gorakhpur, to receive the Gandhi Peace Prize for the year 2021 in recognition of its outstanding contribution to social and economic development.
