The Indian women's team is the champion for the first time in the Asia Cup hockey series
  • The final match of the ongoing Women's Junior Asia Cup Hockey Series was held in Kagamigahara, Japan. In the final match, the Indian team and the South Korean team clashed. The Indian women's team played well and defeated the 4-time champion South Korean women's team by 2-1.
  • With this, the Indian women's team has won the Asia Cup for the first time and created a record. Annu in the 22nd minute and Neelam in the 41st minute scored for the Indian team and won the trophy for the team.
  • While the Indian men's team won the gold in the men's junior hockey tournament, now the women's team has also won the trophy. With this, both the junior teams have qualified to play in the Junior World Cup to be held in Chile from November 29 this year.
Australia crowned 2023 World Test Champions

Australia is the first team to win the ICC World Test Championship, ICC ODI World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy and ICC World Cup T20 in all the series.
French Open - Djokovic makes history by winning 23rd Grand Slam title
  • Serbia's Novak Djokovic defeated Norway's Casper Ruud 7-6 (7-1), 6-3, 7-5 in the French Open men's singles final. This is Djokovic's 23rd Grand Slam title, his 34th appearance in a Grand Slam final.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the first National Training Conference
  • Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the first National Training Conference at the International Exhibition and Convention Center at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
