• தொழிலாளர் ஊதியம்  குறித்த ஆக்ஸ்பாம் ரிப்போர்ட் 2023 / OXFAM REPORT ON LABOR WAGES 2023: உலகம் முழுவதும் உள்ள பணக்காரர்கள் மேலும் பணக்காரர்களாகவும், ஏழைகள் மேலும் மேலும் ஏழைகளாகவும் மாறிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். 
• இது ஏற்றத்தாழ்வுகளை அதிகரித்து சமமின்மையை அதிகரிக்கும் என்று தொடர்ந்து பொருளாதார வல்லுநர்கள் எச்சரித்து வருகின்றனர்.

• இந்நிலையில் மே 1ம் தேதியான இன்று உலகம் முழுவதும் தொழிலாளர் தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. 8 மணி நேரம் வேலை, 8 மணி நேரம் உழைப்பு மற்றும் 8 மணி நேரம் ஓய்வு ஆகியவற்றை வலியுறுத்தி பேரணிகளும், பொதுக்கூட்டங்களும் நடந்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. 
• இன்று ஆக்ஸ்பாம் அதிர்ச்சி அறிக்கை ஒன்றை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. அதாவது இந்தியா உட்பட 50 நாடுகளில் தலைமை நிர்வாக அதிகாரிகளின் (CEO) சம்பளம் 9% சதவிகிதம் அதிகரித்துள்ளது. 
• அதேபோல தொழிலாளர்களின் சம்பளம் 3% சதவிகிதம் குறைந்துள்ளது என்று அறிக்கை கூறுகிறது.
• சர்வதேச தொழிலாளர் அமைப்பு (ILO) மற்றும் அரசாங்க புள்ளியியல் ஏஜென்சிகளின் சமீபத்திய தரவுகளை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டு இந்த ஆய்வு அறிக்கையை ஆக்ஸ்பாம் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. 
• இந்த அறிக்கையின்படி கடந்த 2022ம் ஆண்டில் மட்டும் சுமார் இந்தியா உட்பட 50 நாடுகளை சேர்ந்த 100 கோடி தொழிலாளர்கள் தங்கள் ஊதியத்தில் ரூ.66 ஆயிரத்தை இழந்திருக்கின்றனர். 
• பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் குறைந்த சம்பளத்தில் தங்கள் வாழ்க்கையை நடத்த கட்டாயப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர். சிக்கன நடவடிக்கை என்கிற பெயரில் பெரும் நிறுவனங்கள் தொழிலாளர்களின் ஊதியத்தில்தான் கை வைக்கின்றன என்று ஆக்ஸ்பாம் கூறியுள்ளார்.
• அறிக்கையில் மேலும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளதாவது, "இந்தியாவில் அதிக சம்பளம் வாங்கும் 150 நிர்வாகிகளின் ஊதியம் கடந்த ஆண்டு மேலும் அதிகரித்துள்ளது. அதாவது இவர்கள் மொத்தமாக ரூ.81.7 கோடியை ஊதியமாக பெற்றிருக்கிறார்கள். 
• எளிதாக புரியும்படி சொல்வதெனில் நீங்களும் நானும் ஒரு சாதாரண தொழிலாளி எனில் நாம் ஒரு வருடத்தில் சம்பாதிக்கும் பணத்தை இவர்கள் வெறும் 4 மணி நேரத்தில் சம்பாதித்துவிடுகிறார்கள். அமெரிக்காவின் நிலைமை இந்தியாவை விட மிகவும் மோசம்.
• அந்நாட்டில் அதிகம் ஊதியம் வாங்கும் தனியார் நிறுவனத்தின் நிர்வாகிகளின் ஊதியம் கடந்த 2022ம் ஆண்டு சுமார் 15 சதவிகிதம் அதிகரித்துள்ளது. 
• அதாவது, இந்த நிர்வாகி ஒரு ஆண்டில் எவ்வளவு சம்பாதிக்கிறாரோ அந்த அளவு பணத்தை பெற வேண்டும் எனில் சாதாரண தொழிலாளி சுமார் 413 ஆண்டுகள் உழைக்க வேண்டும். 
• ஆனால் இதே அமெரிக்காவில் கருப்பின பெண்கள் ஒரு மணி நேரத்திற்கு 15 டாலருக்கும் குறைவாகவே சம்பாதிக்கின்றனர். இந்தியா, அமெரிக்கா மட்டுமல்லாது இங்கிலாந்து, தென்னாப்பிரிக்கா, பிரேசில் என 50 நாடுகளிலும் இதே நிலைமைதான் நீடிக்கிறது. சமூகத்தில் நடக்கும் குற்றங்களுக்கு இந்த ஏற்றத்தாழ்வுகள்தான் காரணம்.
• இந்த அதீத சுரண்டலுக்கு எப்போது பலி ஆடாக தொழிலாளர்கள்தான் மாற்றப்படுகிறார்கள். இது தொழில் உற்பத்தி மீது தீராத சலிப்பை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது. 
• அமெரிக்காவில் 54 சதவிகித குடும்பங்கள் வைத்துள்ள சொத்தின் அளவுக்கு வெறும் 1 சதவிகித பணக்காரர்களிடம் சொத்து குவித்து வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• தென்னாப்பிரிக்காவில் 1 சதவிகிதம் பணக்காரர்கள் அந்நாட்டின் சொத்து 95 சதவிகிதத்தை கையில் வைத்திருக்கின்றனர். இந்த சமமின்மை மாற்றப்பட வேண்டும் எனில் பணக்காரர்களுக்கு 75 சதவிகிதம் சொத்து வரி விதிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்" என்று ஆக்ஸ்பாம் வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளது.

• The report further said, "India's 150 highest paid executives increased their salaries last year. That means they earned a total of Rs 81.7 crore. To put it simply, they earn in just 4 hours what you and I, an average worker, earn in a year. The situation in the US Much worse than India.
• The salaries of executives of the highest-paid private companies in the country have increased by about 15 percent in 2022. This means that the average worker would have to work for about 413 years to earn as much money as this executive earns in a year. 
• But black women in the same US earn less than $15 an hour. The same situation continues in 50 countries like India, America, England, South Africa and Brazil. These inequalities are responsible for crime in society.
• Workers are always made the scapegoat for this extreme exploitation. This puts an endless strain on industrial productivity. Just 1 percent of the wealthiest own as much wealth as 54 percent of US households. 
• In South Africa, the richest 1 percent own 95 percent of the country's wealth. "If this inequality is to be reversed, a wealth tax of 75 per cent on the rich must be imposed," Oxfam stressed.
