• இன்டர்நெட் இன் இந்தியா ரிப்போர்ட் 2022 / INTERNET IN INDIA REPORT 2022: இந்தியாவில் இணைய பயன்பாடு வேகமாக அதிகரித்து வருகிறது. நாட்டின் நகரங்களை விட அதிகமான கிராமங்களில் இணையம் பயன்படுத்தப்படுவதிலிருந்து இதை அறியலாம்.
• இது மட்டுமின்றி, நாட்டின் மக்கள் தொகையில் பாதிக்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் இணையத்தை பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர். இதே நிலை தொடர்ந்தால், இணைய உலகில் இந்தியா இந்த தனித்துவமான சாதனையை செய்துள்ளது.

• 52% இந்தியர்கள் அதாவது சுமார் 76 கோடி பேர் தற்போது இணையத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர். இந்தியாவில் இணையத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துவோர் எண்ணிக்கையில் துரிதமாக அதிகரிப்பு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. மதிப்பீடுகளின்படி, 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டில், 900 மில்லியன் இந்தியர்கள் இணையத்தை தீவிரமாகப் பயன்படுத்துவார்கள்.
• செயலில் உள்ள பயனர் என்றால் குறைந்தபட்சம் ஒரு மாதத்திற்கு ஒரு முறை இணையத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துபவர்கள். இந்தியாவில் இத்தகைய வளர்ச்சி காணப்படுவது இதுவே முதல் முறை என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
• இந்த புள்ளிவிவரங்கள் 'இன்டர்நெட் இன் இந்தியா ரிப்போர்ட் 2022'ல் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளன. இந்த அறிக்கைகளை இந்திய இன்டர்நெட் மற்றும் மொபைல் அசோசியேஷன் (IAMAI) வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. 
• இந்த 76 கோடி இணையப் பயனாளர்களில் 40 கோடி பேர் கிராமப்புற மக்களும், 36 கோடி பேர் நகரங்களில் வாழ்கின்றனர் என்பதும் மிகப்பெரிய விஷயம். அதாவது நகரங்களை விட கிராமங்களில் இணையத்தின் பயன்பாடு அதிகமாக உள்ளது.
• கடந்த ஓராண்டில், இந்தியாவில் நகர்ப்புறங்களில் இணைய பயன்பாடு 6% அதிகரித்துள்ளது, கிராமங்களில் இந்த வளர்ச்சி 14% ஆக உள்ளது. 2025-க்குள் 56% புதிய இணைய பயனர்கள் கிராமங்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களாக இருப்பார்கள். 
• மொத்த பயனாளிகளைப் பார்த்தால், கோவாவில் அதிகபட்சமாக 70% மற்றும் பீகாரில் 32% பேர் இணையத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர்.
• மொத்த இந்தியர்களில், இணையத்தை பயன்படுத்துபவர்களில் 54% ஆண்கள் என்பதும் எஞ்சிய 46% பெண்கள் என்பதும் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. ஆனால் புதிதாக சேரும் பயனர்களில் 57% பெண்கள். 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டில், புதிய பயனர்களில் 65% பெண்களாக இருப்பார்கள் என்று நம்பப்படுகிறது.
• மொபைல் தவிர, டேப்லெட்கள் அல்லது ஸ்மார்ட் டிவி போன்ற ஸ்ட்ரீமிங் சாதனங்களில் இணையத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துபவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை ஒரு வருடத்தில் 8% லிருந்து 13% ஆக அதிகரித்துள்ளது. இந்தியாவில் டிஜிட்டல் கொடுப்பனவுகள் ஒரு வருடத்தில் 13% அதிகரித்துள்ளன
• இந்தியாவில் நடக்கும் அனைத்து டிஜிட்டல் பேமெண்ட்டுகளிலும், 99% UPI பயனர்கள் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. கடந்த ஓராண்டில் டிஜிட்டல் பேமெண்ட்டுகளின் பயன்பாடு 13% அதிகரித்துள்ளது. 
• சுமார் 34 கோடி பேர் டிஜிட்டல் பேமெண்ட்டைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர் அவர்களில் 36% பேர் கிராமங்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள். டிஜிட்டல் பயன்பாடு அதிகரிக்க அதிகரிக்க, இணைய பயன்பாடும் அதிகரிக்கும் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
