Orleans Masters International Badminton Series - Priyanshu Champion
- Orleans Masters International Badminton Series held in France. In the men's singles final, Indian player Priyanshu Rajawat clashed with Denmark's Magnus Johannessen. Brianshu won the first set 21-15 in a fast-paced match. Magnus responded by winning the 2nd set 21-19. Priyanshu Rajawat won the decisive third set 21-16.
- After that Brianshu won the champion title by defeating Magnus with the score of 21-15, 19-21, 21-16. With this, Brianshu has won the crown for the first time in the International Badminton Series.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the International Big Cat Alliance (IPCA) and released a commemorative coin to mark 50 years of tigers. Prime Minister Modi went back to Mysuru after completing the Mudumalai tour. Prime Minister Modi participated in the golden jubilee program of 50 years of Bandipur National Tiger Reserve.
- Prime Minister Modi released the statistics regarding the total number of tigers in the country as the project started in the name of Project Tiger to protect the tigers in the country has reached its 50th year.
- Accordingly, in 2006, there were a total of 1,411 tigers in India, and in 2010, the number increased to 1,706. The number of tigers increased to 2 thousand 226 in 2014 and increased to 2 thousand 967 in 2018.
- The number of tigers, which has been increasing year by year, has increased to 3 thousand 167 in 2022, it has been revealed through the survey. In the 8 years from 2014 to 2022, the number of tigers has increased to 941 and in the 4 years from 2018 to 2022 to 200.
- In 1973, the Congress government led by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi started the 'Project Tiger' to protect the tigers in the country. Since then, the number of tigers in India is slowly increasing as a result of various measures taken by the central and state governments to protect tigers.
- All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) under the Ministry of AYUSH organized the Working Group of C20 on “Integrated Holistic Health” on 8th April 2023. More than 400 delegates attended the event.
- The C20 is one of the eight official groups of the G20. Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, United Kingdom and the United States are 19 countries. C20 India 2023 is one of the official groups of G20. It provides a platform to voice the wishes of people around the world.
- The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) has signed an MoU with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeedam University for research and academic collaboration in Ayurveda. The MoU was signed by Professor Tanuja Nesari, Director, All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Ministry of AYUSH and Prem Kumar Vasudevan Nair, Professor of Medical Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeedam, Kochi campus. Already All India Institute of Ayurveda has entered into similar MoUs with many foreign universities.
