International Buddhist Summit started in Delhi
- The International Buddhist Summit started yesterday in Delhi. Addressing a conference attended by foreign scholars and Buddhist monks, Prime Minister Modi said, "The noble teachings of Buddha have influenced countless people for centuries.
- It is the need of the hour for people to give priority to the welfare of the country and the world along with their own interests. The world needs to think about the poor and under-resourced countries.
- India is following the path shown by Buddha. We have helped earthquake affected countries including Turkey. He considered every man's pain as his own. We have continuously tried to convey Buddha's ideas to people.
- Buddhism has solutions to modern problems. His teachings offer solutions to universal problems. The world is facing challenges like war, economic stability, extremism, religious extremism and climate change,” he said.

- In this regard, an agreement was reached between the Chief Ministers of the two states in July in the presence of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. The agreement was finalized between the two Chief Minister Bema Kandu.
