Prime Minister Modi launched the appointment order for 71 thousand people to join central government jobs
- Last year, Prime Minister Modi had announced that 10 lakh people would be given central government jobs under the 'Rojkar Mela' scheme before the Lok Sabha elections next year.
- According to this scheme, the Prime Minister issues appointment orders in various stages to the employees appointed to the Central Government Departments. In this way, Prime Minister Modi yesterday started the program of giving job orders to 71,506 people from different parts of the country through video.
- In this event held at 45 places across the country, Union Ministers and dignitaries participated and handed over the appointment orders in person. A video speech by Prime Minister Modi was broadcast on the occasion.
- The financial report for the year 2023-2024 was tabled in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly on March 20. Then next day the agriculture financial statement was filed. This was followed by discussions on financial statements.
- Following this, a discussion was held on the Forest Department grant request in the Legislative Assembly held today. In this, Forest Minister Mathiventhan has announced 7 new important announcements. Its details are as follows:-
- Devang Conservation Center will be set up at Dindigul Vanakottam Ayyalur at an estimated cost of Rs.20.00 crores.
- A Sea Sponge Conservation Center will be set up at Manora, Thanjavur District at an estimated cost of Rs.15.00 Crores.
- Pallikarana Security Center will be set up at an estimated cost of Rs.20.00 crores.
- Ramsar site – Integrated development works of Vedantangal Bird Sanctuary will be undertaken at an estimated cost of Rs.9.30 crores.
- Ramsar site – Integrated development works of Koondankulam Bird Sanctuary will be undertaken at an estimated cost of Rs.6.00 crores.
- Integrated development works of Palavekadu Bird Sanctuary will be undertaken at an estimated cost of Rs.3.70 crores.
- Ariyalur Karaivetti Bird Sanctuary will be upgraded at a cost of Rs.1.00 crore.
- The Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare organized a workshop on “Technological Intervention and New Innovations in Honey/Apiculture Sector” under Beekeeping and Honey Drive yesterday (12.04.2023) in New Delhi.
- Around 600 people including officials from beekeeping industry/farmer producer organizations, stakeholders of beekeeping industry, various ministries/government agencies, state horticulture department, state agricultural universities, central agricultural universities participated in this workshop directly and through video.
