Introduction of 2nd Amendment Bill including Gymnasium Licensing
  • Chief Minister Stalin introduced the Chennai Metropolitan Police Amendment Bill. The new Vandebharat train will run 60 minutes faster than the existing trains on the same route. This train connects major tourist destinations including Pushkar and Ajmer Sharif Dargah.

  • Raman Research Institute has joined hands with the Indian Navy to develop secure maritime communications using quantum technology.
  • The Raman Research Institute, an autonomous institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, recently signed an MoU with the Weapons and Electronic Systems Engineering Institute, a research and development agency of the Indian Navy. The five-year MoU was signed by Professor Tarun Souradeep, Director, Raman Research Institute, and Vice Admiral Sandeep Naithani, Chief of Materiel, Indian Navy.
  • Raman Research Institute's research on quantum information and computing will be carried out to strengthen the nation's efforts towards safe space communications.
