• உலகில் காற்று மாசு அதிகம் உள்ள நாடுகள் பட்டியல் 2023 / MOST POLLUTED COUNTRIES IN WORLD 2023: உலகில் காற்று மாசு அதிகம் உள்ள நாடுகள் பட்டியலில் இந்தியா 8வது இடம் பிடித்துள்ளது. உலகின் மிகவும் மாசுபட்ட நகரங்கள் பட்டியலை சுவிட்சர்லாந்தின் ஐக்யுஏர் நிறுவனம் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
• 131 நாடுகளில், 30,000க்கும் மேற்பட்ட அரசு மற்றும் அரசு சாரா கண்காணிப்பு அமைப்புகளிடமிருந்து பெறப்பட்ட தகவல்களின் அடிப்படையில் இந்த பட்டியல் தயாரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• அதன்படி, உலகின் மாசுபட்ட நாடுகள் பட்டியலில் இந்தியா 8வது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. மிகவும் மாசுபட்ட நாடுகள் பட்டியலில் முதல் இடத்தை சாட், 2வது இடம் ஈராக், 3வது பாகிஸ்தான், 4வது பக்ரைன், 5வது வங்கதேசம், 6வது பர்கினா பாசோ, 7வது இடத்தை குவைத், 8வது இடத்தை இந்தியா, 9வது எகிப்து, 10வது இடத்தை தஜகிஸ்தான் ஆகியவை பிடித்துள்ளன. 
• இந்த பட்டியலில் 7,300க்கும் மேற்பட்ட நகரங்கள் பட்டியலிடப்பட்டுள்ளன. இதில், இந்திய நகரங்கள் முன்னிலையில் உள்ளன. உலகில் மிகவும் மாசுபட்ட முதல் 50 நகரங்களில் 39 நகரங்கள் இந்தியாவில் உள்ளன. 
• டாப்-10 நகரங்களில் 6 இந்திய நகரங்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன. அதிக மாசுபட்ட நகரங்களில் முதல் இரண்டு இடங்களில் பாகிஸ்தானின் லாகூர், சீனாவின் ஹோடான் நகரங்கள் உள்ளன. அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து ராஜஸ்தான் மாநிலம் பிவாடி, டெல்லி ஆகிய நகரங்கள் உள்ளன.

• MOST POLLUTED COUNTRIES IN WORLD 2023: India is the 8th most polluted country in the world. The list of the most polluted cities in the world has been published by IQAR, Switzerland.
• The list is based on information received from more than 30,000 governmental and non-governmental monitoring organizations in 131 countries. Accordingly, India ranks 8th in the list of most polluted countries in the world. 
• In the list of most polluted countries, the first place is occupied by Chad, 2nd place is Iraq, 3rd place is Pakistan, 4th place is Pakistan, 5th place is Bangladesh, 6th place is Burkina Faso, 7th place is Kuwait, 8th place is India, 9th place is Egypt, 10th place is Tajikistan.
• More than 7,300 cities are listed in this list. In this, Indian cities are leading. India has 39 of the top 50 most polluted cities in the world. 6 Indian cities feature in the top-10 cities. The top two most polluted cities are Lahore in Pakistan and Hodan in China. It is followed by Bhiwadi and Delhi in Rajasthan.
