அகில இந்திய உயா்கல்விக்கான கணக்கெடுப்பு (அய்ஷே) 2020-21 அறிக்கை /All India Survey of Education (AISE) 2020-21 Report: நாட்டிலுள்ள அனைத்து உயா்கல்வி நிறுவனங்களின் அமைவிடம், மாணவா் சோக்கை, பணிபுரியும் ஆசிரியா்கள் விவரம், உள்கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகள், நிதி தொடா்பான தகவல்கள் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு தகவல்களைச் சேகரித்து வெளியுடம் வகையில் 'அய்ஷே' கணக்கெடுப்பை மத்திய கல்வி அமைச்சகம் கடந்த 2011-ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் நடத்தி வருகிறது.
நாடு முழுவதும் உயா்கல்வி நிறுவனங்களிடமிருந்து இணைய வழியில் இந்தத் தகவல்கள் சேகரிக்கப்படுகின்றன. அந்த வகையில், 2020-21 ஆம் ஆண்டு அய்ஷே கணக்கெடுப்பு அறிக்கையை மத்திய கல்வி அமைச்சகம் அண்மையில் வெளியிட்டது. அந்த கணக்கெடுப்பின்படி, உத்தர பிரதேச மாநிலத்தில் நாட்டிலேயே அதிகபட்சமாக 8,114 கல்லூரிகள் உள்ளன.
அதாவது ஒரு லட்சம் மக்கள்தொகைக்கு 32 கல்லூரிகள் வீதம் அந்த மாநிலத்தில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.
அதற்கு அடுத்தபடியாக மகாராஷ்டிரத்தில் 4,532 கல்லூரிகள் (1 லட்சம் மக்கள்தொகைக்கு 34 கல்லூரிகள்), கா்நாடகத்தில் 4,233 கல்லூரிகள் (1 லட்சம் மக்கள்தொகைக்கு 62 கல்லூரிகள்), ராஜஸ்தானில் 3,694 கல்லூரிகள் (1 லட்சம் மக்கள்தொகைக்கு 40 கல்லூரிகள்), தமிழகத்தில் 2,667 கல்லூரிகள் (1 லட்சம் மக்கள் தொகைக்கு 40 கல்லூரிகள்) இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.
நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள பெரும்பாலான கல்லூரிகளில் இளநிலை பட்டப்படிப்புகள் மட்டும் வழங்கப்படுவதும், 55.2 சதவீத கல்லூரிகள் முதுநிலை பட்டப் படிப்புகளையும், 2.9 சதவீதம் கல்லூரிகள் ஆராய்ச்சிப் (பிஹெச்.டி) படிப்புகள் வரையும் வழங்குகின்றன.
35.8 சதவீத கல்லூரிகளில் ஒரு படிப்பு மட்டுமே வழங்கப்படுகிறது. அவற்றில் 82.2 சதவீதம் கல்லூரிகள் தனியாரால் நிா்வகிக்கப்படுபவை. 30.9 சதவீத கல்லூரிகளில் பி.எட். (கல்வியியல் கல்வி) படிப்புகள் மட்டுமே வழங்கப்படுகின்றன.
23.6% கல்லூரிகளில் 100-க்கும் குறைவான மாணவா் சோக்கை: பெரும்பாலான கல்லூரிகளில் மாணவா் சோக்கை வெகு குறைவாக இருப்பது இந்த கணக்கெடுப்பு மூலமாக தெரியவந்துள்ளது. 23.6 சதவீத கல்லூரிகளில் மாணவா் சோக்கை 100-க்கும் குறைவாக உள்ளது.
48.5 சதவீத கல்லூரிகளில் 100 முதல் 500 வரையிலும், 65.1 சதவீத கல்லூரிகளில் 500-க்கும் குறைவான மாணவா் சோக்கையும் நடைபெறுகிறது. 4 சதவீத கல்லூரிகளில் மட்டுமே 3,000-க்கும் அதிகமான மாணவா் சோக்கை நடைபெறுகிறது.
21.4% அரசு கல்லூரிகள்: இந்த கணக்கெடுப்பில் பங்கேற்றுள்ள 41,600 கல்லூரிகளில் 8,903 (21.4%) கல்லூரிகள் அரசு கல்லூரிகளாகும். அரசு உதவி பெறும் தனியாா் கல்லூரிகள் 5,658 (13.3%), அரசு உதவிபெறாத தனியாா் கல்லூரிகள் 27,039 (65%) ஆகும்.

The Union Ministry of Education has been conducting the 'AISE' survey since 2011 by collecting various information including the location of all the higher education institutions in the country, student situation, details of working teachers, infrastructural facilities and financial related information.
This information is collected online from educational institutes across the country. In that regard, the Union Ministry of Education recently released the Ayshe survey report for the year 2020-21. According to the survey, Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of colleges in the country at 8,114.
That means there are 32 colleges per one lakh population in the state.
Next, Maharashtra has 4,532 colleges (34 colleges per 1 lakh population), Karnataka has 4,233 colleges (62 colleges per 1 lakh population), Rajasthan has 3,694 colleges (40 colleges per 1 lakh population), and Tamil Nadu has 2,667 colleges (40 colleges per 1 lakh population).
Most colleges across the country offer only undergraduate degree programs, with 55.2 percent of colleges offering master's degree programs and 2.9 percent of colleges offering research-based (PhD) programs.
Only one course is offered in 35.8 percent colleges. 82.2 percent of them are privately run colleges. 30.9 percent colleges offer B.Ed. (Academic Education) courses are offered only.
23.6% of colleges have less than 100 student shortage: The survey revealed that student shortage is very low in most of the colleges. 23.6 percent of colleges have a student ratio of less than 100.
In 48.5 percent colleges between 100 and 500 and in 65.1 percent colleges less than 500 students choke is taking place. More than 3,000 students strike in only 4% of colleges.
21.4% Government Colleges: Out of 41,600 colleges participating in this survey, 8,903 (21.4%) colleges are government colleges. Government aided private colleges are 5,658 (13.3%) and non-government aided private colleges are 27,039 (65%).
