Ballistic Prithiv-2 missile successfully test-fired
- The Prithiv-2 ballistic missile is designed for short-range precision strike and destruction. The missile was successfully launched from the Chandipur launch pad in Odisha today (Jan 10) night. Then it hit and destroyed the specific target very precisely.
Startup India Innovation Week kicks off across the country
- Startup India Innovation Week celebrations across the country began today to celebrate National Startup Day. 7 days are organized for various events. On the first day today, seminars and workshops were held in various parts of the country.
- A workshop on alternative investment funds for investment in startups was held by the Department of Industry and Domestic Business Promotion (DPIIT) at Vigyan Bhavan, Delhi.
- Representatives of Small Business Development Bank, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, Labor Provident Fund Corporation and others participated in it.
- Hyderabad, Mumbai, Warangal and other cities also held various programs on the occasion of the Startup Innovation Week.
- Dr. Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, inaugurated the program organized by the Agribusiness Industry Protection Association, Coimbatore.
- 120 startup companies registered and more than 100 people participated in it. Dr. Rakesh Chandra, Deputy Director, Division of Agricultural Education, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi was the Chief Guest.
- The program was attended by government department officials, students and teachers of the university.
