For the 3rd time in the history of the Supreme Court, a separate bench has women judges
- In the Supreme Court, Justice Hima Kohli, Justice Bela M. Trivedi, a bench consisting of only women judges, Chief Justice T.Y. Created by Chandrachud. This is the third time that a bench with only 3 women judges has been constituted. 32 cases including matrimonial disputes and bail petitions are listed before this bench of judges.
- Earlier, in 2013 and 2018, there was a bench with only women judges. In 2013, Justices Kyan Sudha Misra and Ranjana Prakash Desai were on the bench. In 2018, Justices R. Banumathi and Indira Banerjee were members of the all-women bench. 34 judges are required in the Supreme Court. But now there are 27 judges.
- In the Supreme Court, Justice Hima Kohli, Justice Bela M. Trivedi, Justice P.V. Nagaratna has three women judges. Among them, in 2027, Justice P.V. Nagaratna will become the 'First Woman Chief Justice of the Country'.
- Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Piyush Goyal will be the Chief Guest at the Conference on 'Cereals - Efficient Nutritional Food' to be held in New Delhi tomorrow (December 5, 2022).
- The Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, through the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Promotion Authority (APEDA), has organized the conference with an aim to promote the export of small grains.
- The conference will be a preview of the 'International Year of Small Grains - 2023'. Agricultural production companies, industrial companies, exporters, manufacturers of small grain products etc. will participate in this event.
- An exhibition of Indian fine grains and fine grain products and a trade level meeting will be held.
- The 189th meeting of Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) was held at its headquarters under the chairmanship of Union Minister for Labor and Employment, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Mr. Bhupender Yadav. Several important projects were announced in the meeting.
- Union Minister of State for Labor and Employment, Petroleum and Natural Gas Mr. Rameshwar Theli attended the event. On the occasion, Mr Bhupender Yadav released the first issue of ESI's monthly digital magazine 'ESI Samachar'.
- The accounts and CAG report for the year 2021-22 and the annual report and analysis thereof for the year 2021-22 were approved and adopted. It will be tabled in Parliament after the approval of the Union Ministry of Labor and Employment.
