Britain, Italy, Japan together new fighter aircraft
- The three countries namely Britain, Italy and Japan have decided to jointly develop a modern fighter plane. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced this project named 'Global Combat Air Programme' on Friday.
- This foreign partnership demonstrates that Euro-Atlantic security and Indo-Pacific security are inseparable. The newly developed fighter jet will start flying in the year 2035. The new aircraft will be designed to have better interaction with drones, sophisticated sensors and high-tech weapons.
- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin launched the Tamil Nadu Climate Change Movement today (9.12.2022) at the Tamil Nadu Climate Change Conference organized by the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Forests in Chennai.
- Subsequently, he launched the Tamil Nadu Climate Change Movement's efficient Climate Villages, Green Schools, Green Myths projects and watched a short film on climate change initiatives.
- We have earmarked 500 crore rupees for it in the financial statement, we have earmarked 10 crore rupees to develop separate models and set up radars for Tamil Nadu and have taken forward projects.
- The US and many Western countries are helping Ukraine militarily and economically in the war between Ukraine and Russia. As a follow-up, the US is currently providing an additional Rs 2,263 crore in arms aid to Ukraine.
- In this, rocket missiles with modern technology and numerous weapons are provided to Ukraine. The US has so far provided military aid worth Rs 1.57 lakh crore to help Ukraine in its war against Russia.
- The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party is functioning with Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao as its leader. Chandrasekhar Rao announced that the party had been converted into a national party last October and renamed as Bharatiya Rashtra Samiti.
- DRS asked the Election Commission for approval. The party sent a letter. The letter was written by party general secretary Santosh Kumar. The Election Commission has now approved this name change.
