- இந்தியாவில் பல்வேறு மொழிகளிலும், ஆங்கிலத்திலும் வெளியாகும் சிறந்த இலக்கியப் படைப்புகளுக்கு சாகித்ய அகாடமி சார்பில் ஆண்டுதோறும் விருதுகள் வழங்கப்படுகின்றன. அந்த வகையில் 2022-ம் ஆண்டுக்கான விருது பெறுவோர் பட்டியல் புதுடெல்லியில் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
- நாட்டில் உள்ள, 24 மொழிகளில் வெளியாகும் கதை, கவிதை, கட்டுரை, மொழிபெயர்ப்பு உள்ளிட்ட இலக்கிய படைப்புகள் அங்கீகரிக்கும் வகையில், மத்திய அரசின் இலக்கிய அமைப்பான சாகித்ய அகாடமி, விருதுகளை ஆண்டுதோறும் வழங்கி வருகிறது.
- ஒவ்வொரு மொழியிலிருந்தும் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்ட சிறந்த படைப்பாளிகளுக்கு தலா ரூ. 1 லட்சத்துக்கான காசோலை, சால்வை, செப்புபட்டயம் அடங்கிய சாகித்ய அகாடமி விருது வழங்கப்படும். விருது வழங்கும் விழா பற்றிய தேதி பின்னர் அறிவிக்கப்படும் என்று சாகித்ய அகாடமி தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
- தமிழ் மொழி விருதுக்கு ஓய்வுபெற்ற ஐஏஎஸ் அதிகாரியான எழுத்தாளர் மு.ராஜேந்திரன் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
- காளையார்கோவில் போர் தொடர்பான நிகழ்வுகளை கதைக்களமாக முன்வைத்து எழுதப்பட்ட 'காலா பாணி' என்ற வரலாற்று நாவலுக்காக அவருக்கு இந்த விருது அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த நாவலை 'அகநி பதிப்பகம் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
- தமிழ் மொழிக்கான விருதுக்கு பெங்களூரைச் சேர்ந்த எழுத்தாளரும், மொழிபெயர்ப்பாளருமான கே.நல்லதம்பி தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார். கன்னட மொழியில் நேமிசந்த்ரா எழுதிய 'யாத்வஷேம்' என்ற நாவலை நல்லதம்பி தமிழில் மொழிபெயர்த்துள்ளார். இந்த நாவலை 'எதிர் வெளியீடு' வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
- 'சீதா ராமாயணத சதித்ரா மருகதனா' என்ற நாவலை எழுதிய பத்மராஜா தண்டாவதி; 'பஹுத்துவத பாரத மற்றும் பவுத்த தாத்திகதே' என்ற நாவலை எழுதிய மூட்னாகூடு சின்னஸ்வாமி ஆகிய இரண்டு எழுத்தாளர்களுக்கு சாகித்ய அகாடமி விருது அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுஉள்ளது.
- Annual awards are given by Sahitya Akademi for the best literary works published in different languages and English in India. Accordingly, the list of award recipients for the year 2022 was announced in New Delhi.
- Sahitya Akademi, a literary body of the central government, has been presenting awards annually to recognize literary works including stories, poems, essays and translations published in 24 languages in the country.
- The selected best authors from each language will be awarded Rs. The Sahitya Akademi Award will be presented with a check of Rs 1 lakh, a shawl and a copper medal. Sahitya Akademi said that the date of the award ceremony will be announced later.
- Writer M. Rajendran, a retired IAS officer, has been selected for the Tamil Language Award.
- The award has been announced to him for his historical novel 'Kala Pani', which is based on the events related to the Kalayarkovi war. This novel has been published by 'Aghani Publishing House.
- Bengaluru-based writer and translator K. Nallathambi has been selected for the Tamil language award. Nallathambi translated Kannada novel 'Yadvashem' into Tamil. This novel has been published by 'Anti Publication'.
- Padmaraja Thandavati who wrote the novel 'Sita Ramayana Satitra Marugatana'; Sahitya Akademi Award has been announced to two writers, Moodnakoodu Chinnaswamy, who wrote the novel 'Bahuthuvatha Bharata and Baudha Tathikate'.
