உலக குழந்தைகள் தினம் / WORLD CHILDREN'S DAY

• உலக நாடுகள் குழந்தைகள் தினத்தை வெவ்வேறு தேதிகளில் கொண்டாடுகின்றன. இருந்தாலும் சர்வதேச குழந்தைகள் தினம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் நவம்பர் 20-ந்தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. 
• 1925-ம் ஆண்டு ஜெனீவாவில், குழந்தைகள் நல்வாழ்வு தொடர்பாக ஒரு சர்வதேச மாநாடு நடைபெற்றது. அதில் குழந்தைகளுக்கான அடிப்படை உரிமைகள் மற்றும் அவர்களுக்கான கல்வி உறுதி குறித்து அரசுகளுக்கு அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டது. 
• 1954-ம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 14-ந் தேதி, ஐ.நா.,குழந்தைகளுக்கிடையேயான சகோதரத்துவம் மற்றும் புரிதலை மேம்படுத்தும் வகையிலும் குழந்தைகளின் நலனுக்காக ஐ.நா., சபையின் முயற்சிகளை ஊக்குவிக்கும் வகையிலும் சர்வதேச குழந்தைகள் தினத்தை கடைபிடிக்கும் படி உலக நாடுகளைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டது. 
• இதனை தொடர்ந்து 1959-ம் ஆண்டு குழந்தைகளின் உரிமைகளுக்கான பிரகடனம் செய்த நாள் மற்றும் 1989-ம் ஆண்டு குழந்தைகளின் உரிமைகளுக்கான மாநாடு நடத்தப்பட்ட நாளான நவம்பர் 20-ந்தேதியை சர்வதேச குழந்தைகள் தினமாக ஐ.நா., சபை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டது. 
• குழந்தைகளின் உரிமைகளை மேம்படுத்தவும், துஷ்பிரயோகம், சுரண்டல், பாகுபாடு போன்ற வடிவங்களில் வன்முறையை அனுபவிக்கும் உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள குழந்தைகளைப் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தவும், தொழிலாளர்களாக தள்ளப்படும் குழந்தைகளை மீட்டெடுக்கவும் இந்த குழந்தைகள் தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

உலக குழந்தைகள் தினத்தின் தீம் 2022 - ஒவ்வொரு குழந்தைக்கும் சிறந்த எதிர்காலம் 

• இந்த ஆண்டு உலக குழந்தைகள் தினத்தின் கருப்பொருள் "ஒவ்வொரு குழந்தைக்கும் ஒரு சிறந்த எதிர்காலம்". இது சிறந்த எதிர்காலம் மற்றும் மிகவும் சமமான மற்றும் உள்ளடக்கிய உலகத்திற்காக குழந்தைகளை மேம்படுத்தும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

• Countries around the world celebrate Children's Day on different dates. However, International Children's Day is celebrated around the world on November 20 every year.
• In 1925, an international conference on child welfare was held in Geneva. 
• It advised the governments about the fundamental rights of children and ensuring education for them.
• On December 14, 1954, the United Nations called upon the nations of the world to observe International Children's Day to promote brotherhood and understanding among children and to promote the efforts of the United Nations Council for the welfare of children.
• Following this, the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959 and the day of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989, November 20 was adopted by the UN as International Children's Day.
• Children's Day is celebrated to promote children's rights, raise awareness about children around the world who experience violence in the form of abuse, exploitation, discrimination, and rescue children forced into labor.

• The theme for this year's World Children's Day is "A Better Future for Every Child”. 
• It is anticipated to empower children for a better future and a more equal and inclusive world.
