• பள்ளிகளில் இருந்து இணையதள தரவு சேகரிப்பு யுடிஐஎஸ்இ+ (UDISE +) நடைமுறை, 2018-19-ம் ஆண்டில் பள்ளிக் கல்வி மற்றும் எழுத்தறிவுத் துறையால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. 
• இது காகித வடிவில் நேரடியாகத் தரவுகளை நிரப்பும் பழைய நடைமுறை தொடர்பான சிக்கல்களைத் தீர்க்கும் வகையில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. 
• யுடிஐஎஸ்இ+ முறையில், தரவு சேகரிப்பு, தரவுகளை இணைத்தல் மற்றும் தரவு சரிபார்ப்பு தொடர்பான அம்சங்களில் மேம்பாடுகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளன.
• 2021-22-ம் ஆண்டில், யுடிஐஎஸ்இ+-ல், புதிய தேசியக் கல்விக் கொள்கை 2020-ன் முன்முயற்சிகளுக்கு ஏற்ப முதல்முறையாக, மின்னணு நூலகம், இணைந்து கற்றல், கடினமான பகுதிகளை அடையாளம் காணுதல், பள்ளி நூலகத்தில் கிடைக்கும் புத்தகங்களின் எண்ணிக்கை போன்ற முக்கியமான அம்சங்கள் பற்றிய கூடுதல் தரவுகள் சேகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

பள்ளிக் கல்வியில் மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்கள்

• 2020-21 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 25.38 கோடி என்ற அளவில் மாணவர் எண்ணிக்கை இருந்தது. 2021-22 ஆம் ஆண்டில் தொடக்க நிலை முதல் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளி வரையிலான பள்ளிக் கல்வியில் மொத்த மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 25.57 கோடியாக இருந்தது. 
• இது முந்தைய ஆண்டைக் காட்டிலும் 19.36 லட்சம் அதிகமாகும். 2020-21-ம் ஆண்டில் 4.78 கோடியாக இருந்த பட்டியல் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களின் மொத்த எண்ணிக்கை 2021-22-ம் கல்வி ஆண்டில் 4.82 கோடியாக அதிகரித்துள்ளது. 
• அதேபோல், 2020-21-ம் ஆண்டில் 2.49 கோடியாக இருந்த பழங்குடியின மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 2021-22-ம் ஆண்டில் 2.51 கோடியாக அதிகரித்துள்ளது. 
• 2020-21-ம் ஆண்டில் 11.35 கோடியாக இருந்த இதர பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 2021-22-ம் கல்வி ஆண்டில் 11.48 கோடியாக அதிகரித்துள்ளது.
• 2020-21-ம் ஆண்டுடன் உடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது, 2021-22 ஆம் ஆண்டில் பள்ளிக் கல்வியின் ஆரம்ப, இடைநிலை மற்றும் மேல்நிலைக் கல்வியில் பொதுப் பங்கேற்பை அளவிடும் மொத்த உயர்கல்வி விகிதம் (GER) மேம்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• மேல்நிலைப் படிப்பில் 2020-21-ம் ஆண்டில் 53.8 சதவீதமாக இருந்த ஜிஇஆர், 2021-22-ம் ஆண்டில் 57.6 சதவீதமாக குறிப்பிடத்தக்க அளவு முன்னேற்றம் அடைந்துள்ளது.
• 2020-21-ம் ஆண்டில் 21.91 லட்சமாக இருந்த சிறப்புத் தேவைகள் கொண்ட குழந்தைகளின் (மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகள் - CWSN) மொத்த எண்ணிக்கை 2021-22-ம் ஆண்டில் 22.67 லட்சமாக அதிகரித்தது. இந்த எண்ணிக்கை 2020-21 ம் ஆண்டை விட 3.45 சதவீதம் அதிகமாகும்.  
• 2021-22-ம் ஆண்டில் 95.07 லட்சம் ஆசிரியர்கள் பள்ளிக் கல்வியில் பணியாற்றினர். அவர்களில் 51 சதவீதத்துக்கும் அதிகமானோர் பெண் ஆசிரியர்கள். 
• மேலும், 2021-22-ல், மாணவர் - ஆசிரியர் விகிதம் (PTR) ஆரம்பக் கல்வியில் 26 ஆகவும், இடைநிலைக் கல்வியில் 19 ஆகவும், உயர்நிலைக் கல்வியில் 18 ஆகவும் மேல்நிலைக் கல்வியில் 27 ஆகவும் இருந்தது. 
• 2018-ஆம் ஆண்டுடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் இது நல்ல வளர்ச்சி ஆகும். 2018-19 ஆம் கல்வி ஆண்டில் மாணவர்- ஆசிரியர் விகிதம் ஆரம்ப, இடைநிலை, உயர்நிலை மற்றும் மேல்நிலைக் கல்வியில் முறையே 28, 19, 21, மற்றும் 30 ஆக இருந்தது.
• தொடக்கக் கல்வி முதல் மேல்நிலைக் கல்வி வரை, 2021-22-ம் ஆண்டில் 12.29 கோடி பெண் குழந்தைகள் கல்வி பயின்றனர். இது 2020-21-ம் ஆண்டை ஒப்பிடுகையில் 8.19 லட்சம் அதிகமாகும்.
• 2020-21-ல் 4.78 கோடியாக இருந்த பட்டியல் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 2021-22-ம் ஆண்டில் 4.83 கோடியாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது. 
• இதேபோல், 2020-21-ம் ஆண்டில் பழங்குடியின மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 2.49 கோடியிலிருந்து 2021-22 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 2.51 கோடியாகவும், இதர பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட வகுப்பு மாணவர்கள் எண்ணிக்கை 11.35 கோடியிலிருந்து 11.49 கோடியாகவும் உயர்ந்துள்ளது.
• 2020-21-ல் 15.09 லட்சமாக இருந்த பள்ளிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 2021-22ல் 14.89 லட்சமாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது. தனியார் மற்றும் இதர மேலாண்மைப் பள்ளிகள் மூடப்பட்டதும், பல்வேறு மாநிலங்களில் பள்ளிகளை குழுவாக்கம் செய்து இணைத்ததும், மொத்தப் பள்ளிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை குறைந்ததற்கு முக்கியக் காரணம் ஆகும்.

• Online data collection from schools UDISE+ (UDISE +) procedure was developed by the Department of School Education and Literacy in 2018-19. It was developed to solve the problems associated with the old practice of filling data directly in paper form.
• In the UTISE+ system, improvements have been made in aspects related to data collection, data aggregation and data validation.
• In 2021-22, in UTISE+, for the first time in line with the initiatives of the new National Education Policy 2020, more data on important aspects like e-library, cooperative learning, identification of difficult areas, number of books available in the school library has been collected.

Students and teachers in school education

• In 2020-21, the number of students was 25.38 crore. In 2021-22, the total number of students in school education from primary to high school was 25.57 crore. This is 19.36 lakh more than the previous year. The total number of Schedule Class students increased from 4.78 crore in 2020-21 to 4.82 crore in the academic year 2021-22.
• Similarly, the number of tribal students increased from 2.49 crore in 2020-21 to 2.51 crore in 2021-22. The number of other backward students increased from 11.35 crore in 2020-21 to 11.48 crore in the academic year 2021-22.
• The Gross Higher Education Ratio (GER), which measures public participation in primary, secondary and tertiary education in schooling, has improved in 2021-22 compared to 2020-21.
• GER in higher education has improved significantly from 53.8 per cent in 2020-21 to 57.6 per cent in 2021-22.
• The total number of children with special needs (CWSN) increased from 21.91 lakh in 2020-21 to 22.67 lakh in 2021-22. This figure is 3.45 percent higher than in 2020-21.
• In the year 2021-22, 95.07 lakh teachers worked in school education. More than 51 percent of them are female teachers.
• Also, in 2021-22, the Pupil-Teacher Ratio (PTR) was 26 in primary education, 19 in secondary education, 18 in higher secondary education and 27 in higher education.
• This is a good growth compared to 2018. In the academic year 2018-19, the student-teacher ratio was 28, 19, 21, and 30 in elementary, middle, high, and higher education respectively.
• From primary to higher education, 12.29 crore girls will be educated in 2021-22. This is 8.19 lakh more than in 2020-21.
• The number of Schedule Class students increased from 4.78 crore in 2020-21 to 4.83 crore in 2021-22.
• Similarly, the number of tribal students increased from 2.49 crore in 2020-21 to 2.51 crore in 2021-22 and the number of OBC students increased from 11.35 crore to 11.49 crore.
• The number of schools increased from 15.09 lakh in 2020-21 to 14.89 lakh in 2021-22. The main reason for the decrease in the total number of schools was the closure of private and other management schools and the grouping and amalgamation of schools in various states.
