- மத்திய கல்வி அமைச்சகத்தின் கீழ் இயங்கும் பள்ளிக்கல்வி மற்றும் எழுத்தறிவுத் துறை 2020- 21ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான மாநிலங்கள்/ யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களின் செயல்பாட்டு தரவரிசை குறியீட்டை இன்று வெளியிட்டது.
- மாநிலங்கள் மற்றும் யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களின் பள்ளிக் கல்வி அமைப்புமுறையின் ஆதாரங்கள் அடிப்படையிலான விரிவான ஆய்விற்கான தனித்துவம் வாய்ந்த குறியீடாக இது அமைந்துள்ளது.
- வெளிப்பாடுகள், ஆளுகை மேலாண்மை ஆகிய இரண்டு பிரிவின்கீழ் 70 குறியீடுகளில் 1000 புள்ளிகள் அடங்கியதாக இந்த குறியீடு அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த இரண்டு பிரிவுகள் மேலும் ஐந்து முக்கிய துறைகளில் வகைப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.
- முந்தைய ஆண்டுகளின் குறியீடுகளைப் போலவே, 2020-21 குறியீட்டிலும் மாநிலங்களும் யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களும் 10 வரிசைகளில் தரம் பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
- மொத்தம் உள்ள 1000 புள்ளிகளில் 950-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட புள்ளிகளைப் பெற்றுள்ள மாநிலங்கள்/ யூனியன் பிரதேசங்கள் நிலை 1 என்ற உயரிய மதிப்பைப் பெற்றுள்ளன. 551க்கு குறைவான புள்ளிகளைப் பெற்றுள்ள மாநிலங்கள் / யூனியன் பிரதேசங்கள் 10-வது நிலையில் வகைப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.
- இந்த செயல்பாட்டு வரிசை குறியீட்டின்படி தமிழகம், புதுவை ஆகியவை முறையே 855 மற்றும் 897 புள்ளிகளோடு மூன்றாவது நிலையில் உள்ளன.
- கற்றல் வெளிப்பாடுகள் பிரிவில் 132 புள்ளிகளையும், அணுகல் பிரிவில் 78 புள்ளிகளையும், உள்கட்டமைப்பு மற்றும் வசதிகளில் 131 புள்ளிகளையும், சமத்துவம் என்ற பிரிவில் 183 புள்ளிகளையும், ஆளுகை நடைமுறை என்ற பிரிவில் அதிகபட்சமாக 331 புள்ளிகளையும் தமிழகம் பெற்றுள்ளது.
- புதுச்சேரிக்கு கற்றல் வெளிப்பாடுகளில் 124 புள்ளிகளும், அணுகலில் 76 புள்ளிகளும், உள்கட்டமைப்பு மற்றும் வசதிகளில் 134 புள்ளிகளும், சமத்துவப் பிரிவில் 220 புள்ளிகளும், ஆளுகை நடைமுறையில் 343 புள்ளிகளும் கிடைத்துள்ளது.
- அனைத்து நிலைகளிலும் பள்ளிக்கல்வி அமைப்புமுறை விரைவான முன்னேற்றம் அடைவதை உறுதி செய்வதற்கு முன்னுரிமை அளிக்கப்பட வேண்டிய துறைகளில் மாநிலங்களும் யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களும் அதிக கவனம் செலுத்தி இடைவெளிகளைக் கண்டறிவதற்கு இந்தக் குறியீடு உதவிகரமாக இருக்கும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
- The Department of School Education and Literacy, under the Union Ministry of Education, today released the performance ranking index of the States/Union Territories for the year 2020-21.
- It is a unique index for evidence-based comprehensive study of the school education system of states and union territories.
- The index is composed of 1000 points in 70 indices under two categories namely Disclosures and Governance Management. These two categories are further classified into five major sectors.
- Like previous years' indices, the 2020-21 index has ranked states and union territories in 10 ranks.
- States/UTs scoring more than 950 points out of a total of 1000 points are awarded the highest rank of Level 1. States / Union Territories scoring less than 551 are classified in 10th position.
- According to this performance index, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are at the third position with 855 and 897 points respectively.
- Tamil Nadu scored 132 points in learning exposures category, 78 points in accessibility category, 131 points in infrastructure and facilities, 183 points in equality category and maximum 331 points in governance category.
- Puducherry scored 124 points in learning exposure, 76 points in accessibility, 134 points in infrastructure and facilities, 220 points in equality category and 343 points in governance.
- It is expected that this index will help States and Union Territories to focus more on priority areas to ensure rapid improvement of schooling system at all levels and identify gaps.
