Thiruvallur student wins gold in World Para Badminton Championship
- Manisha Ramadoss won the gold by defeating Japan's Mamiko Toyoda 21-15, 21-15 in the singles category held in Japan. In the same series, he won bronze medals for India in doubles and mixed doubles.

First Fish Museum in Arunachal
- Arunachal Pradesh, one of the North-Eastern states, will set up the first integrated fish park and fish museum. The existing Tarin fish farm at Bulla village in Subansirib district is to be developed into an integrated fish park.
