T20 World Cup 2022 - England Champions
- The 20 World Cup cricket tournament started in Australia on 16th of last month. With 16 teams participating in this tournament, New Zealand, England, India and Pakistan qualified for the semi-finals.
- In the first semi-final, Pakistan defeated New Zealand and in the second semi-final, England defeated India and advanced to the final. Meanwhile, the World Cup final was held in Melbourne today (Nov. 13). In this, former champions England-Pakistan teams held a multi-test.
- Pakistan eventually scored 137 runs for the loss of 8 wickets at the end of 20 overs. On behalf of England, Adil Rashid took 2 wickets and Sam Karan took 3 wickets.
- Following this, the England team played with a target of 149 runs. In the end they scored 138 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 19 overs. With this win, England won the 2022 T20 World Cup. This is the team's 2nd T20 World Cup win.
100 more medical colleges across the country in next 5 years- Union Govt
- Medical colleges are being started all over the country. New hospitals are being set up in areas with a population of more than 10 lakhs. Already, approval has been given to start 157 medical colleges in 3 phases.
- Out of this, 93 colleges have come into operation. Other colleges are under construction. These seem to be operational soon. In this case, the Union Government has decided to set up 100 more medical colleges by 2027 as the 4th phase.
- The proposal has been approved. According to this, district hospitals in 100 districts which do not have government or private medical colleges will be selected and upgraded as medical colleges or the hospital recommended by the expert committee will be converted into a medical college.
- Converting a district hospital or hospital into a medical college is estimated to cost Rs 325 crore
- In this, the Union Government provides 60 percent of the funds and the State Government provides 40 percent of the funds. The amount has been approved by the Union Expenditure Committee.

Asian Shooting - 4 more golds for India
- India bagged 4 gold medals in a single day at the Asian Aeronautical Championships on Sunday. In the final rounds, the team of Arjun Babuta, Kiran Jadhav and Rudrangsh Patil beat Kazakhstan with a score of 17-11 in the men's 10m air rifle category.
