Prime Minister Modi's idea for one country, one police uniform for the states
- A brainstorming meeting of State Home Ministers regarding strengthening of internal security was held in Surajkhand, Haryana for the last 2 days. State Home Ministers, Home Secretaries and Police Chiefs participated in this.
- Modernization of policing, cyber crime management, increased use of information technology in criminal justice system, border management, coastal security, women's safety, combating drug trafficking were studied.
- Speaking in this meeting through video, Prime Minister Modi said: All the state governments have acted responsibly in eradicating terrorist links in the last few years. We need to coordinate our forces to eradicate terrorism.
- Advances in facial recognition technology, automatic number plate recognition technology, drone and CCTV technologies have taken place many times over.
- States can learn new things and work together for the country. I think it would be better if the identity of the police was uniform across the country.
- For this, uniform uniforms can be introduced for police across the country. It's just an idea. I am not trying to impose this on the states. It may be possible in 5, 50 or 100 years. Think about it. Prime Minister Modi spoke thus.

First 4.2 MW wind farm test run in the country
- India's first-ever installation of 4.2 MW wind power plant has been put into trial run. Brazil's Vec Company has installed a 4.2 MW wind power plant at Vadavilai near Valliyur in Tirunelveli district at a cost of Rs 88 crore.
- Kanyakumari Aralwaimozhi pass area currently has wind turbines with a maximum power generation capacity of 2 MW.
Cryogenic engine test success
- Indian Space Research Center's Liquid Fuel Project Complex is located at Mahendragiri near Panagudi, Nellai District. Here the Kaganyan project tested the cryogenic engine used in the rocket that would send humans into space.
- The test lasted 28 seconds. ISRO scientists informed that this was done successfully.
The central government has increased the moisture content for paddy procurement to 19%
- The central government has set the moisture content of paddy procured from farmers to be 17 percent. Due to continuous rains, the moisture level of the harvested paddy was more than 17 percent and the farmers were struggling to sell the paddy.
- In this case, the central government has announced that the moisture level for paddy procurement will be increased from 17 percent to 19 percent. In Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagai, Mayiladuthurai and Trichy districts, this concession is being given only to paddy harvested in Kuruvai cultivation this year.
