Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh passed away

  • Due to poor health, he was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, Haryana last August. Mulayam Singh, who was admitted on the 22nd, was being treated by specialist doctors. In this case, he died yesterday (10.10.2022).
  • Mulayam Singh, one of the prominent leaders of the state of Uttar Pradesh, served three terms as the Chief Minister of the state. He has also served as Union Defense Minister. He has been elected to Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly 10 times and Lok Sabha 7 times.
  • Following his demise, the Uttar Pradesh government has declared 3 days of mourning. The Bihar government declared a day of mourning. A large number of volunteers thronged the Samajwadi Party office in Lucknow.
  • Meanwhile, Mulayam's body was taken to Saifai in Etawah district, his hometown. The President, Prime Minister and others have expressed their condolences.
Technical Support to ChipCot Company - Agreement with Anna University in the presence of the Chief Minister
  • ChipCot has signed an MoU with Anna University as its technology partner. Under the agreement, Oragadam will be involved in developing specialized infrastructure for the Medical Equipment Park and providing technical support to Chipcot. 
  • Anna University will help ChipCot to develop products based on new innovations in the medical field along with improving the capacity of manufacturers in the field of medical technology.
  • Similarly, an agreement was signed between Chipcott and the British Deputy High Commission. Through this agreement, a vision and master plan for Chulagiri Park will be prepared. 
  • Both the agreements were exchanged on Monday in the presence of Chief Minister MK Stalin at the Chief Secretariat. Following this, the Chief Minister inaugurated the new buildings constructed in Chipkot Industrial Parks in various places of Tamil Nadu through a video presentation.
"GREAT" project launched in police stations
