- 5.80 டன் எடை கொண்ட இலகுரக ஹெலிகாப்டர் தரையில் இருக்கும் இலக்குகளையும், வானில் பறக்கும் இலக்குகளையும் துல்லியமாக தாக்கிஅழிக்கும் திறன்படைத்தது.
- அதிநவீன வழிகாட்டிக் கருவி, ஜிபிஎஸ் கருவி பிரசாந்த் ஹெலிகாப்டரில் உள்ளது. மணிக்கு அதிகபட்சமாக 288 கி.மீ வேகத்தில் செல்லும், அதிகபட்சமாக 21 ஆயிரம் அடி உயரத்தில் பறக்க முடியும், குறிப்பாக சியாச்சின் மலைப்பகுதிக்கு பிரசாந்த் ஹெலிகாப்டர் ஏற்றது.
- வானில் பறந்தபடியே 500 கி.மீ சுற்றளவில் வரும் எதிரிகளின் இலக்குகளைக் கண்காணிக்கும் அதிநவீன ரேடார், இன்ப்ரா ரெட் கருவிகள் உள்ளன.
- இரவு நேரத்தில் ரோந்துப்பணி, இரவுநேரத்தில் தாக்குதல் நடத்த எலெக்ட்ரோ ஆப்டிகல் பாட் கருவிகள், சிறப்பு ஆயுதங்கள் உள்ளன. பைலட் மற்றும் துணை பைலட் இருவருக்குமே ஆயுதங்களை இயக்கும் வசதி கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- வானில் பறக்கும்போது, 2கி.மீ சுற்றளவில் நிமிடத்துக்கு 800 குண்டுகளை சுடும் அளவுக்கு ஹெலிகாப்டரின் முன்பகுதியில் அதிநவீன துப்பாக்கி இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- ஹெலிகாப்டரின் கீழ் பகுதியில் 70எம்எம் ராக்கெட், ஏவுணை பொருத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த ஏவுகணை, ராக்கெட் மூலம் 4.கி.மீ வரை இலக்குகளை துல்லியமாகத் தாக்கி அழிக்க முடியும், 8.கி.மீ வரை தாக்க முடியும்.

- Prashant helicopter has 2 special engines. Both engines were jointly developed by Hindustan Aeronautics and Sabran of France. The 5.80-tonne light helicopter is capable of engaging and destroying targets on the ground and in the air with precision.
- Prashant Helicopter is equipped with state-of-the-art navigation equipment, GPS equipment. With a maximum speed of 288 kmph and a maximum altitude of 21,000 feet, the Prashant helicopter is specially suited for the Siachen Hills.
- It has state-of-the-art radar and infra-red equipment to track enemy targets within a radius of 500 km while flying in the sky. Night patrols, electro-optical pods, special weapons for night attacks. Both the pilot and the co-pilot are given the facility to operate the weapons.
- A sophisticated gun is attached to the front of the helicopter capable of firing 800 rounds per minute at a radius of 2 km while in flight.
- A 70mm rocket launcher is installed in the lower part of the helicopter. This missile can accurately hit and destroy targets up to 4 km with the rocket and can attack up to 8 km.
- It is equipped with Dhruvastra and Mistral-2 missiles capable of intercepting enemy targets in the air. These missiles have a maximum interception range of 6.5 km
