- இந்திய நாணயத் தாள்களின் வடிவமைப்பை உருவாக்கும் முழு அதிகாரம் இந்திய ரிசர்வ் வங்கி மற்றும் இந்தியாவின் மத்திய அரசாங்கத்திற்கு உள்ளது.
- ரூபாய் நோட்டின் வடிவமைப்பில் ஏதேனும் மாற்றங்கள் இருந்தால், ரிசர்வ் வங்கி மற்றும் மத்திய அரசின் மைய வாரியத்தால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்படும்.
- RBI சட்டம், 1934 இன் பிரிவு 25 இன் படி, பங்கு நோட்டுகளின் வடிவமைப்பு, வடிவம் மற்றும் பொருள் ஆகியவை மத்திய வாரியத்தின் பரிந்துரைகளை பரிசீலித்த பிறகு (மத்திய அரசு) அங்கீகரிக்கப்படலாம்.

Indian currency notes
- The Reserve Bank of India and the Central Government of India have full authority to create the design of Indian currency notes. Any changes in the design of the currency note will be approved by the Central Board of the Reserve Bank and Central Government.
- According to Section 25 of the RBI Act, 1934, the design, form and substance of the stock notes may be approved after considering the recommendations of the Central Board (Central Government).
- The Currency Management Department of the Reserve Bank is responsible for managing the affairs and duties related to currency management.
- Is concerned with issuing notes and coins and withdrawing unfit notes from circulation.
- This work is done through a vast network of 18 issuing offices of RBI and 4,195 currency boxes, 488 depots and 3,562 small currency depots managed by banks and government treasuries.
- If the design of the currency note needs to be changed, it will be done by the Currency Management Department of the RBI. Before sending the design to the Central Government for approval, it sends it to the RBI. The final arbiter of currency note design is centrality.
