- தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள கைம்பெண்கள், கணவரால் கைவிடப்பட்ட பெண்கள், நலிவுற்ற பெண்கள், ஆதரவற்ற பெண்கள், முதிர்கன்னிகள் உள்ளிட்டோர் எதிர்கொள்ளும் பிரச்சினைகளை களைந்து அவர்களின் வாழ்வாதாரத்தை மேம்படுத்தும் வசதிகளான கல்வி, சுகாதாரம், வேலை வாய்ப்பு, சிறப்பு சுய உதவிக் குழுக்கள் அமைப்பது தொழிற் பயிற்சிகள் வழங்குதல் போன்ற திட்டங்களை வகுத்து சமூகத்தில் அவர்கள் பாதுகாப்புடன் கண்ணியமான முறையில் வாழ்வதற்காக "கைம்பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆதரவற்ற மகளிர் நல வாரியம்" உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- அரசாணையின் படி இவ்வாரியத்திற்கு 14 அலுவல்சாரா உறுப்பினர்கள் கீழ்கண்டவாறு நியமனம் செய்யப்பட வேண்டியுள்ளது.
- அந்த வகையில் கைம்பெண்கள் பிரதிநிதிகள் - 4 நபர்கள், (பட்டியலினத்தவர் - 1, பழங்குடியினர் -1, இதர வகுப்பினர் - 2) கல்வியாளர்கள் - 2 நபர்கள், பெண் தொழில் முனைவோர்கள் - 2 நபர்கள், பெண் விருதாளர்கள் - 2 நபர்கள் ,தன்னார்வ தொண்டு நிறுவன பெண் பிரதிநிதிகள் - 4 நபர்கள் என மொத்தம் 14 பேர் உறுப்பினர்களாக நியமிக்கப்படவுள்ளார்கள்.
- Handmaids in Tamil Nadu, women abandoned by their husbands, frail women, destitute women, old women, etc., and to overcome the problems faced by them and to improve their livelihood by creating programs such as education, health, employment opportunities, special self-help groups, providing vocational training, etc. Destitute Women Welfare Board has been constituted.
- According to the order, 14 non-official members are to be appointed to this committee as follows.
- In that respect women representatives - 4 persons, (Scheduled caste - 1, tribal - 1, other classes - 2) educators - 2 persons, women entrepreneurs - 2 persons, women awardees - 2 persons, women representatives of voluntary organizations - 4 persons total.
- 14 people will be appointed as members.
