Sriram appointed as Bangladesh coach
- The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced that Sreedharan Sriram will be the coach for the Asia Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates and the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia.
- The 46-year-old Sreedharan Sreeram has played 8 ODIs for the Indian team between 2000 and 2004. He has worked as a spin coach in the Australian cricket team for a long time. He has been the assistant coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL.

- The All India Consumer Price Index (Base 1986-87=100) for Agriculture and Rural Labor for July 2022 increased by 6 points to 1131 and 1143 respectively.
